BTS V to Collab With THIS Jazz Artist? Here Is What We Know

BTS V has been in talks with his favorite jazz musician, and ARMYs think a collab could happen soon!

Read below to know all the details.

BTS V a Huge Fan of Jon Batiste

In an episode of "BTS In the SOOP 2," BTS V gave ARMYs a glimpse of him playing his trumpet.

As a jazz and trumpet enthusiast, it is not surprising BTS V also loves listening to jazz music. In fact, in November 2021, he showed ARMYs what jazz music he was listening to.

It was only a matter of time before BTS V's fondness for jazz music and playing the trumpet reached fellow artist, Jon Batiste.

The latter is best known for his versatility as a musician. He has also teamed up with some of the biggest names in the industry like Stevie Wonder, Lenny Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, and more.

Through the years, Batiste has also received a slew of awards.

Earlier this year, Batiste also received the most nominations at the GRAMMYs. One fan took the opportunity to ask if he would be willing to collaborate with BTS V.

To everyone's surprise, Batiste revealed that he is a big fan of the Bangtan Boy.

He also gave BTS V a shout-out and asked him if he would be willing to collaborate with him.

Jon Batiste Gives Update on BTS V

Weeks later on March 16, Batiste once again surprised ARMYs with his update. According to the Jazz artist, he and BTS V has been talking!

Batiste also said they are having some kind of cultural exchange at the moment.

As of writing, there is no confirmation yet as to whether a collab between BTS V and Batiste would happen anytime soon. But at times, K-pop artists who get shout-outs from their favorite musicians and singers eventually collab with them.

So, here is to hoping that BTS V and Batiste will release new music in the coming months!

BTS V Eyes Collaboratio With Kurt Elling

BTS V Gives Update on His Solo Mixtape
