CJ ENM finally unveiled its first Korean lineup for the upcoming "KCON 2022 Premiere" in May! This year, 13 K-pop artists loved by GEN Z including MONSTA X, STAYC, and more will participate in the music festival!

On March 22, CJ ENM announced that the company will hold the "KCON 2022 Premiere."

With GEN Z digital and offline targeted content, the event will showcase a large number of new and interesting experiences to reflect the changing trend in the post-COVID-19 era.

The event will first kick off in Korea, which will be held on May 7 and 8. KCON 2022 Premiere will also meet fans in Tokyo, Japan and Chicago, USA in the same month.

Afterward, the annual "KCON" will resume after two years in August. The places that the event will visit include LA, USA and Tokyo, Japan.

The lineup for each location may vary, but all of them will be K-pop representative artists who led the idol revival period and paved the way for overseas expansion.

The event will also introduce representative musicians. They are gradually developing fandom centered on global Gen Z.

On the same day, CJ ENM also revealed 13 teams that will complete the lineup for Seoul, Korea's "KCON '22 Premiere."

HIGHLIGHT

HIGHLIGHT is a global idol group that proved its popularity by releasing its first full-length album, "Daydream" on Mar. 21. They will visit fans with a deeper sensibility, unique wit, and reliable performance through KCON 2022.

MONSTA X

In this event, K-pop enthusiasts are to expect MONSTA X to show their distinct colors. This attracted not only domestic fans but hit the US Billboard charts beyond Korea as well.

NiziU

Currently a hit group in Japan, NiziU will visit its Korean fans for the first time through KCON.

NMIXX

After recording various favorable results including the modifier "K-pop's all-time rookie," NMIXX will join their first-ever joint concert.

The septet raised anticipation with their visuals, intense performance, and live skills. Attention is focusing on what their first KCON stage will look like.

STAYC

STAYC is properly appealing its popularity by hitting the music charts for each title song released. The group is expected to capture the attention of fans around the world beyond Korea.

THE BOYZ

THE BOYZ, a group that is racing toward the global market, will also participate. It is on a roll, recording a half-million seller with its sixth mini-album and winning five awards on music shows with its third single title song, "Maverick."

THE BOYZ's bold stage, which is called the "standard of performance," is already warming up fans' expectations.

TO1

Expectations for TO1 stage are higher than ever. They have shown stronger appearance with their own growth story of leaping toward a rough world. Their new album "RE:ALIZE" was released in November.

'QUEENDOM 2' Contestants

Last but not least, the contestants from Mnet's "Queendom 2," will also appear at "KCON 2022 Premiere."

This will include Brave Girls, HYOLYN, Kep1er, LOONA, VIVIZ, and WJSN who are expected to show powerful performances at home and abroad.
