Red Velvet's "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm" has successfully broken several records for first-day sales including their own.

Red Velvet's "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm" Smashes Various Records for First-Day Sales
On March 21, Red Velvet officially dropped their new mini-album "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm." It contains a total of six songs including the title track "Feel My Rhythm."
"Feel My Rhythm" is a pop-dance track sampling Johann Sebastian Bach's "Air on the G String." The lyrics narrate a tale of freely embarking on an exciting journey. It emphasizes traveling across time and space while following the music.

On the same day, Red Velvet's "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm" already broke numerous records for first-day sales after it sold a total of 231,100 copies.
First, "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm" now holds the girl group's record for highest first-day sales in their career. The quintet's previous record was 150,623 copies sold by their sixth EP "Queendom" on Aug. 16, 2021.
The six-track mini-album also broke the band's personal record for highest first-week sales that was previously set by "Queendom." "Queendom" only sold 2017,399 copies.
Apart from that, Red Velvet's "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm" now has the highest first-day sales amount among the albums released not only by K-pop girl groups but also female K-pop artists this 2022.
It surpassed Kep1er's "FIRST IMPACT," which initially hold the two records. "FIRST IMPACT" only sold 150,153 copies on Jan. 3.

On the overall list - including 2022 albums by K-pop boy groups - Red Velvet's new mini-album has landed at No. 3, surpassing TREASURE's "THE SECOND STEP: CHAPTER ONE" (which only had over 167,000 sales).
Furthermore, "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm" broke the record for fourth-highest first-day sales for a girl group album in history. It beat IZ*ONE's "One-reeler / Act IV" which only sold 190,698 copies on Dec. 7, 2020.
"The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm" now comes behind BLACKPINK's "THE ALBUM" (No. 1), TWICE's "MORE & MORE" (No. 2), and TWICE's "Formula of Love" (No. 3).

On March 21, Red Velvet held an online press conference to celebrate the release of their new mini-album "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm." Their labelmate SHINee Minho was the host of the event.
During the conference, the girl group talked about making a comeback this spring season. This proves that they are not only "Summer Queens."
Irene commented, "When you think of spring, there's that feeling of a new beginning. As Red Velvet is starting afresh with our unique 'ReVe Festival,' we wanted to display the cold of winter and the warmth of spring at the same time."

Wendy said, "When spring comes around, I always look up spring carols and songs, but Red Velvet wants to be in charge of this spring. Going beyond summer queens, we want to achieve the spot for spring queens."
Joy then stated, "Wendy says she wants to become spring queens, but we have many other comebacks ahead of this year, so we want to become queens of all seasons."
It appears like Red Velvet has more new music to drop this year, so ReVeluvs must stay tuned.
