Red Velvet's "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm" now has the highest first-week sales among the albums by female K-pop artists released in 2022.

Last week, Red Velvet returned with a new mini-album titled "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm." This EP is the group's newest addition to their "The ReVe Festival" series, which began and ended back in 2019.

Thousands of copies have been sold since the mini-album came out on March 21. Notably, the girls saw better sales this time.

The album's first-week sales have finally come to an end on March 27, and it recorded an impressive amount that no other new albums by female K-pop acts achieved this 2022.

The first-week sales figure of Red Velvet's "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm" reached 443,922 copies, becoming the group's first album to surpass 400,000 copies in just the first seven days.

So with that, the SM girl group has beaten their own best record in terms of first-week sales. Their previous album "Queendom" only sold 207,399 copies from Aug. 17 to 23 last year.

Remarkably, "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm" saw a whopping 114% growth compared to "Queendom," demonstrating the group's significant rise in popularity.

Red Velvet's "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm" has also broken the record for highest first-week sales for a female K-pop artist this 2022. This record was previously held by NMIXX's "AD MARE."

In addition to that, the six-track mini-album has landed at No. 43 on the Top 100 highest first-week sales on the Hanteo Chart in history.

Red Velvet now joins BLACKPINK as the only girl group inside the Top 50 of the list. The quintet also becomes the fourth female K-pop artist to enter the Top 50, following BLACKPINK, Lisa, and Rosé.

With more than 440,000 copies sold, "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm" is now the album by an SM female artist with the highest first-week sales in history. In fact, it is the first to sell more than 400,000 copies.

aespa's "Savage" initially held this record after selling 276,877 copies from Oct. 5 to 11 last year.

Furthermore, Red Velvet's "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm" now ranks at No. 2 on the Top 5 highest first-week sales of girl group albums on Hanteo in history.

The mini-album has surpassed IZ*ONE's "Oneiric Diary," which only sold 389,334 copies, and now comes behind BLACKPINK's "THE ALBUM" which sold 689,066 copies.
