Oh My Girl Seunghee and Mimi Share Strict Rules WM Entertainment Has for Trainees
Recently, Oh My Girl members Seunghee and Mimi made a guest appearance on the March 26 broadcast of JTBC's variety program, "Knowing Bros," alongside Kahi and Park Jung Ah, who are currently members of project group MAMADOL.
During this episode, Seunghee and Mimi talked about the strict rules WM Entertainment has that they had to follow from when they were still trainees.
Seunghee started off by saying, "We were strictly forbidden from using any makeup, including lip colors."

Mimi also added that they weren't allowed to wear shorts or miniskirts that went above the knee, and that WM Entertainment is very strict with their female trainees.
When cast member Kim Young Chul asked if they were also banned from dating, the Oh My Girl members did not hesitate to say yes, saying, "Of course dating wasn't allowed. If you got caught dating, you would be kicked out [of the company]. You would get kicked out right away."
Seunghee and Mimi Reveal Strict Rules After Debut
Seunghee and Mimi also revealed that even after making their debut, they still had several strict rules to follow, such as being prohibited from making eye contact with male idols at broadcast stations.
According to Seunghee, the rule was created by someone high up in the label. "There was actually a rule that came from a high up in the company. Our staff were told that when 'Oh My Girl passes male idols in the hallway, have them turn around and face a wall.'"
So whenever Oh My Girl was waiting in the hallway, they would turn around and face the wall when a male idol passes by. Mimi adds that the experience was "so embarrassing for us."
The members also had to go in pairs while holding hands whenever they went to the bathroom.

Lee Soo Geun then asked if their dating ban was part of their contract, to which the members confirm it had been.
"We were banned from dating for four years after our debut. We are in our eighth year now," Seunghee said while smiling playfully.
They also confirmed with the cast members that they really didn't date for four years after their debut, no even secretly.
But when Seunghee and Mimi were asked about flirting despite the dating ban, Mimi said, "No, we didn't," while Seunghee replied saying "I am sure we did," causing Mimi to be shocked by her answer.
