BTS J-Hope Recovers From COVID-19 – Will He Participate in the 2022 Grammy Awards?

Big Hit Music officially announced BTS J-Hope's recovery from COVID-19. The label also shared whether he will be able to attend the upcoming Grammy Awards or not.

BTS J-Hope Recovers From COVID-19 - Will He Attend the 2022 Grammy Awards?

On March 30, Big Hit Music released an official statement through the community platform Weverse to update the fans on BTS J-Hope's health status.

The agency began its statement by revealing that J-Hope has fully recovered from COVID-19 and his quarantine has concluded today, March 30.

"J-Hope has been administering self-treatment at home since last Wednesday, the 23rd, and as his quarantine ended, J-Hope can resume his activities starting from today," Big Hit Music added.

The company went on to say that the BTS member experienced mild symptoms, particularly a sore throat, during his quarantine but he recovered fast.

In the middle of the statement, Big Hit Music said that BTS J-Hope is scheduled to depart for Las Vegas and rejoin his fellow members.

Jungkook left for Las Vegas ahead of V, Jimin, RM, Jin, and Suga, who all departed on the 28th.

"He will adhere to COVID-19 guidelines for air travel during his departure," the company said.

BTS' agency also revealed that J-Hope will participate in the 2022 Grammy Awards. They explained, "It has been confirmed that there is no issue regarding his participation in the Grammy Awards according to the local quarantine guidelines."

The record label then thanked the fans who have shown concern for the artists as well as the staff members of the health authorities.

"We will continue to place our highest priority on the health and safety of our artists and fully cooperate with the requests and guidelines of healthcare authorities," Big Hit Music concluded.

BTS will attend the Grammy Awards in Las Vegas which is set to take place on April 3. The group is one of the nominees for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their mega-hit song "Butter."

BTS J-Hope Personally Tells Fans His COVID-19 Recovery

In related news, BTS J-Hope himself announced that he has recovered from the virus.

On March 30, J-Hope took to Weverse to share with the fans how he is feeling now. "Did you guys worry? I am more than OK! During quarantine, I ate well and slept well and now I am fine LOL," he said.

The "Butter" singer further said, "I was worried because of the timing of it all since this is an important time for us. I wanted to rest well, eat well, and recover fast and thought only of showing you guys my best self."

BTS J-Hope lastly told fans, "Above all, I was worried that you guys would worry. I'm sorry it took so long to update you guys. Since I've completed my quarantine, I'll quickly rejoin the team! Please ARMY, be well and don't get sick!"

J-Hope tested positive for COVID-19 on March 24 after he exhibited symptoms of a sore throat on the 23rd.
