Latest K-pop Comebacks [March 24 to 30]: NCT Dream's "Glitch Mode," Oh My Girl's "Real Love," More!

D-Crunch "Addiction"

On March 25, D-Crunch released their third single album "Addiction," which is the group's first music release after member Minhyuk left the group in November 2021.

The band only now has seven members but only six of them participated in "Addiction." Dylan is currently on a break due to health issues.

NCT Dream "Glitch Mode"

On March 28, NCT Dream made their first comeback in nine months since the release of their repackaged album "Hello Future." The seven-piece boy group released their second full-length album "Glitch Mode."

"Glitch Mode" consists of a total of 11 songs including the title track of the same name. On the day of its release, the studio album already sold 703,700 copies. This is the new highest first-day sales figure in 2022 for a K-pop artist.

Oh My Girl "Real Love"

Another K-pop comeback that took place on March 28 is that of Oh My Girl. The septet also dropped their second studio album, "Real Love." This has nine new songs including the title track called "Real Love."

This time the girl group returned with a song that focuses on love. In particular, the title song "Real Love" conveys the moment of falling in love and how everything feels new and different during that time.

PURPLE KISS "memeM"

PURPLE KISS returned to the K-pop scene on March 29 with their third mini-album "memeM." This EP comprises seven tracks including "memeM," which serves as the title song.

With "memeM," the rookie girl group broke their best record for highest first-day sales. The new mini-album sold 29,116 copies, surpassing their previous record of 8,497 copies set by "HIDE_SEEK."

One of the most notable news this week is Stray Kids' debut on the popular Billboard 200. The group's new mini-album "ODDINARY" entered at No. 1.They are the third K-pop artist in history to hit the top of the chart after BTS and SuperM.

Besides that, Stray Kids also took No. 1 on Artist 100. They are the fourth Korean act to do so following BTS, BLACKPINK, and SuperM.

(G)I-DLE Achieves First Perfect All-Kill Since Their Debut

On March 24 at 2:30 p.m. KST, Instiz's iChart announced that (G)I-DLE's "TOMBOY" had attained a perfect all-kill. This marks their first-ever perfect all-kill since their debut. This also makes them the first K-pop group to score this feat in 2022.

P NATION, Source Music Announce Debut Plans and Names of Their K-pop Groups

On March 28, Source Music officially announced that their new girl group will be called LESSERAFIM. They are set to debut in May.
