Prior to their debut, Spica sparked interest for the appearance of former Fin.K.L Lee Hyori on their first digital single, "Doggedly." Since then, the K-pop icon and the quintet worked together until they disbanded in 2017.
Five years after they parted ways, what is the members' status in 2022?
In 2012, the five-member group Spica, comprised of Kim Boa, Park Sihyun, Park Narae, Yang Jiwon and Kim Bohyung was launched by B2M Entertainment and later on managed by CJ E&M Music.
At that time, they gained massive attention as "Lee Hyori's little sister group." Following their debut, the girl group met commercial success with their songs including, "Tonight," "Russian Roulette," more.
They consistently released new songs and appeared in various entertainment programs, drawing attention from music fans. Unfortunately, they failed to produce significant results, and Spica wasn't able to overcome the intense girl group battle.
Eventually, Spica decided to break up, officially disbanded in 2017.
Here Are the Spica Members' Current Activities After Disbandment:

Boa, the leader and main vocalist of the group following departure, signed with her new nest ARA-Line in 2020, alongside her former Spica co-member Kim Bohyung.
Under the agency, they formed a musical duo KEEMBO and released their debut single, "Thank You, Anyway."
Fun Fact! Kim Boa before her debut was actually a vocal trainer for top second-gen groups such as INFINITE, KARA and Rainbow!
2. Park Sihyun
When Sihyun left Spica and its sub-unit Spica.S, the female idol pursued an acting career in 2019 under Arte Korea.
3. Park Narae
Park Narae, the lead vocalist of the group, after disbandment unofficially retired from the music scene.
Nevertheless, she was occasionally meeting up with other Spica members proven by their Instagram posts.
4. Yang Jiwon
After two failed debuts including Five Girls and T-ARA (she almost joined them), Jiwon finally debuted in Spica, only to disband again in 2017.
A year after, the female idol once again tried her luck and successfully joined the lineup for UNI.T. Unfortunately, the team disbanded five months after launch.
In 2021, she signed with CL&Company and pursue her acting career. Some of her works include "Divorce Lawyer in Love" and "Love is Jungle."
5. Kim Bohyung
Supposedly a 2NE1 member, Kim Bohyung moved to B2M Entertainment and debuted as Spica. In 2013, she debuted as a soloist through her digital single, "Crazy Girl."
In 2020, she also signed with ARA-LINE with Kim Boa and became her co-member for the musical duo, KEEMBO.
