Epik High Tablo Reacts to Taeyang's Voice in BIGBANG's 'Still Life'

BIGBANG's "Still Life" is officially out, and fans aren't the only ones reacting to the song, but Epik High Tablo as well. In particular, he is praising Taeyang's vocals in the track.

Epik High Tablo Comments on Taeyang's Voice in BIGBANG's 'Still Life'

On April 5 at midnight KST, BIGBANG's new song "Still Life" was finally released on various music streaming platforms. The accompanying music video for the track was revealed at the same time.

As soon as it came out, the boy group's fans, who are collectively called VIP, took to Twitter to celebrate the quartet's return. A few hashtags such as "#BIGBANG_StillLife," "#BIGBANGisBACK," and "BIGBANGCOMEBACK" were trending in the music category.

Aside from the VIPs, one K-pop idol was also spotted reacting to BIGBANG's "Still Life," and it is none other than the genius and Epik High leader Tablo, who is a former labelmate of the group.

Tablo made a tweet that included a gif showing a man who seems to be moved by someone's words or actions. He captioned this with, "Youngbae's voice is really..."

For new fans, Youngbae is the real name of BIGBANG Taeyang.

Through his tweet, Epik High Tablo appears to be saying that he was moved by Taeyang's voice in BIGBANG's "Still Life."

He made another post later on, and he revealed that he was able to talk to Taeyang. He shared, "I spoke to Youngbae today and I'm happy that he's happy."

Many VIPs also took note of Taeyang's heavenly voice in BIGBANG's new song and shared their reactions on Twitter. Because of lots of fans talking about it, the vocalist became a trending topic on the platform.

Currently, BIGBANG's "Still Life" is soaring high on Korean music charts and the music video for the track is trending on YouTube in various countries around the world.

Epik High's Latest Comeback With 'Epik High Is Here' (Part 2)

Meanwhile, Tablo also recently returned with his fellow Epik High members, Tukutz and Mithra Jin, to the music scene. The hip-hop trio released the second part of their full album "Epik High Is Here" on Feb. 14.

The first part of the studio album came out in January 2021, and it contains two title tracks titled "Rosario" (featuring CL and Zico) and "Based on a True Story" (featuring Heize).

Meanwhile, "Epik High Is Here" (Part 2) comprises the title track "Gray So Gray" plus 10 B-side songs.

"Gray So Gray" is highly-anticipated as it reunites the trio with singer Younha, who previously worked with them on their past songs "Umbrella," "Rain Song" and "Happen Ending."

Shortly after it arrived, Epik High's full album debuted at No. 17 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart and No. 54 on the European iTunes Album Chart.

"Epik High Is Here" (Part 2) also entered the top 10 on iTunes Album charts in Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Russia, and Indonesia. It even ranked No. 38 in Japan and No. 40 in the United States.
