On April 8, Source Music introduced the final member of LE SSERAFIM, Huh Yunjin, through an introduction video and concept photos.

Many were excited for Huh Yunjin's reveal, as she had gained a following after she competed on "Produce 48." The Korean-American is known for her excellent vocal ability, and she has even performed operas before.

In her teaser video, Yunjin stood out with her dynamic charm and stunning visuals.

Despite Huh Yunjin herself receiving compliments, the video was accused of being plagiarized. Many believed HYBE Labels copied scenes from Avril Lavigne's music video for "Smile."

In one scene, Huh Yunjin is seen holding black spray paint. Then, she sprays an "X" on the camera.

This is similar to a scene in Avril Lavigne's "Smile" music video. The only difference is that in "Smile," Avril Lavigne draws a smiley face with two Xs for eyes.

In another scene, Huh Yunjin is seen lying on the group with a guitar and amp next to her. Wires surround her.

This scene is nearly identical to a part in "Smile."

The overall vibe of the music video was compared to "Smile." Both girls are seen in a white room, with scenes showing them playing the guitar or posing with the instrument.

LE SSERAFIM Kim Chaewon's Introduction Video Accused of Copying The Rolling Stone's MV

Huh Yunjin's introduction video is not the only one to be accused of plagiarism.

Previously, Kim Chaewon's video was also accused of plagiarism, with people stating HYBE Labels copied The Rolling Stone's music video for "'Ride 'Em Down."

The female leads are seen dancing in a gas station in both videos, wearing white crop tops and black shades.

They are also seen licking blue lollipops and coating their tongues with artificial coloring.

The group is receiving lots of negative criticism from South Korean online community forums due to plagiarism claims. Many are wondering why the company is resorting to copying. Others speculated the company believed they would not be caught in such acts since the works they copied from are years old.
