Is Former miss A Min Already Engaged? Here's What the Idol Said

On April 11, Lee Minyoung (Min's real name) surprised her Instagram followers by sharing a picture of her left hand with a diamond ring on her ring finger.

The photo, which came with the caption "Single?" garnered plenty of attention from fans who were uncertain of what she was trying to say. They wondered whether she was referring to new music or her upcoming wedding.

This Instagram post of her has now surpassed 10,000 likes and fans continue to leave comments. They ask her about what the picture means.

On April 12, former miss A Min took to her Instagram story to give clarifications about her recent post. She reuploaded the same image showing the diamond ring and wrote, "I'm single but my new SINGLE is coming up. 22.04.18."

She also included the hashtags "#SorryGuys," "#NewSingle," and "#StillSingle."

Min even shared a video of herself moving her index finger sideways as if she's telling the fans "No." She wrote the short message "Love you guysss. LOL" as well.

As what she said in her Instagram story, former miss A Min will drop a new single on Monday, April 18. It will mark her first music release in five months since her digital single "ONION" came out in November of last year.

Reportedly, the female soloist will not only leave a strong impact to the public but also showcase a more mature color through music.

Meanwhile, Min has been active as a soloist since she left JYP Entertainment in November 2017. She is currently signed with K-Tigers E&C.

Former miss A Min's Last Music Release Under JYP Entertainment

Prior to departing from JYP Entertainment, Min participated in miss A's comeback in 2015 - this is the girl group's final music release before disbanding in December 2017.

On March 13, 2015, miss A dropped the extended play "Colors" containing a total of six songs including the title track "Only You." The mini-album peaked at No. 3 on the Gaon Album Chart and No. 4 on Billboard World Albums Chart.

The title song "Only You" also debuted on the Gaon Digital Chart at No. 1 for the week ending on April 4, 2015.

Meanwhile, the music video for miss A's "Only You" garnered more than two million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours after its release.

Regarding album sales, "Colors" sold a total of 5,668 copies in South Korea in the first month. It went on to reach over 12,000 sales by the end of 2015.

Apart from miss A's comeback, Lee Minyoung made her musical debut in the Korean adaptation of "Boys Over Flowers The Musical." She played the role of Tsukushi Makino. The musical took place from February to May 2017 at the Hongik University Art Center's Grand Theater in Seoul.
