Jay Park Shows Off Friendship With BTS Jungkook
Recently on April 19, Jay Park garnered attention after sharing two photos of him with BTS' youngest member, Jungkook, on his social media accounts.
In one of the photos, the two can be seen showing off their close friendship. Jay Park grinned while Jungkook had his arms around the rapper's shoulders, and doing the peace and rock sign with his lips pursed.
In the other photo, Jay Park and Jungkook can be seen posing for the camera as they stand in a recording studio.
Along with the photos, Jay Park also added a sweet caption that praised Jungkook.
On his Instagram account, Jay Park said, "Even though he is at the top, he has a growth mindset and he is humble.... What a stud.. Plus he is good at boxing.. after i met Jk i can definitely can see why they get so much love. Humble [ambitious] and talented."

He later added on his Twitter account, "Bro is super humble, ambitious and talented. Can definitely see why they get so much love. JK is a dope genuine person."
Not long after, Jungkook reposted Jay Park's Instagram post on his Story, along with a fire emoji.
Jay Park Responds to Hypocrisy Accusations Following Photos With Jungkook
Fans who saw the photos could not help but squeal at the unexpected friendship between the two talented musicians. Some even speculated that the two can be working on new music together. They were spotted in a recording studio.
While many were happy with Jay Park meeting Jungkook, some were not as excited.
Some BTS fans, ARMYs, criticized the rapper and accused him of being a hypocrite, stating that he had previously called K-Pop idols "superficial" and "fake."
They also mentioned how he had claimed to hate being mistaken as a BTS member in public in the past, but is now using Jungkook and idols for "clout."
Some have also brought up the idea of Jay Park using Jungkook to promote his soju business, Won Soju.
Both Jay Park and Jungkook trended over on Twitter in more than 59 countries worldwide. Their names trended alongside the hashtag "#jkhostagesituation," which implied that Jungkook was "taken hostage" and had to snap a photo with Jay Park.
Hours after the criticism poured in, Jay Park himself gave a response on his Twitter, where he responded with positivity and love.
"hope everyone keeps safe and healthy. peace and love to all humans #jkhostagesituation," he said, along with different colored heart emojis.
This isn't the first time Jay Park was criticized for hanging out with an idol. He was previously in a similar situation with ATEEZ's Mingi.
