BTS' Comeback Album Might Include Songs by New Sub-Units - Here's Why
On April 17, the Bangtan Boys surprised millions of fans when they uploaded a video to their official social media accounts to tease that something special is coming on June 10.
The clip, which features the words "WE ARE BULLETPROOF" and the numbers "2022.06.10," was first unveiled at the group's final concert in Las Vegas.
On the same day, Big Hit Music officially announced that June 10 is when BTS' new album will take place.

The upcoming work will be the septet's first album in more than a year since "BE" arrived in November 2020.
Following the announcement, ARMYs began anticipating the group's new music and made theories about what BTS' comeback will look like.
Most fans believe that the Bangtan Boys will go with a hip hop concept this time because of a few clues: the group was confirmed to team up with Snoop Dogg. Suga previously said that fans need not wait too long for hip-hop songs.
Other than this, some ARMYs suspect that songs by new sub-units will be included in BTS' upcoming album. As many fans know, the septet usually releases an album that contains not only group songs but also tracks by a member and sub-units.
Some of the well-known sub-unit works include the rappers' cyphers and V and Jimin's duet, titled "Friends."
The speculation about BTS' new sub-units comes from an eagle-eyed ARMY with the Twitter username @kosmicyoon.
The fan pointed out that the BTS members are split into three units based on the color schemes of their profile photos on Instagram. Jin and Suga are blue, Jimin and J-Hope are orange, and RM, V, and Jungkook are black-and-white.

Apart from the color schemes, these potential sub-units are divided up according to their original living arrangements in their dormitory. Suga and Jin were roommates and the same goes with Jimin and J-Hope, who are said to be living together even at present.
Moreover, V and RM shared a room while Jungkook was in a separate room by himself.

According to the post, BTS might become the first group in idol history to release an album every year without having any member lineup changes, and all the members taking part in each album.
