aespa Performs at the 2022 Coachella Main Stage
On April 19, aespa was confirmed to perform at the Coachella main stage, making them the third girl group to perform at the music festival and the first to perform on the main stage.
On April 25, aespa appeared on the 88rising stage after a performance by music producer and DJ Flume from Australia.

The four-member SM Entertainment girl group performed four songs, including their hit singles "Black Mamba," "Next Level," and "Savage." The fourth song they performed is a never-before-released song, "Life's Too Short."
During the event, aespa confidently demonstrated their English skills, speaking the language to communicate with the audience who flocked their Coachella stage.

Within the first few seconds on stage, aespa excited the crowd with their professional performances and stage presence. Before their performance, many internet users believed aespa could not sing live. However, the girls sang 100% live in Coachella, shocking many.

The group's live vocals have been heavily debated following the performance. Many think that the girls cannot hit the high notes of their songs and are over-singing to compensate. Others believe their voice was not smooth and would often crack.
On the other hand, people think that since the girls had to sing live, they had no choice but to perform their dances less powerfully. People believe their dancing did not have as much energy because they were focused on singing.
