Han Seo Hee as Trainee From 2013 to 2016: Did She Really Train Under YG, FNC, More?
In particular, the truth about Han Seo Hee's trainee journey was unveiled on April 25 when she attended the trial as a witness on charges of Yang Hyun Suk, former YG CEO, such as violation of the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes (revenge threat).
During the trial, it was revealed she, who claimed to be a trainee in the past, signed a trainee contract for about a month. She started by narrating through prosecution and the police she was an active trainee from 2013 to 2016, under different agencies.
In 2013, Han Seo Hee stated she was selected to become a trainee under Pledis Entertainment, home to SEVENTEEN. However, after an investigation, it was difficult to find evidence she actually signed a trainee contract with the agency.

Amid speculations Han Seo Hee faked her trainee life, it was confirmed during the trial she signed a contract with Jellyfish Entertainment in June 2015 in expectation of debuting in Gugudan.
Jellyfish Reveals Reason Han Seo Hee's Trainee Contract Was Terminated Ahead of Debut
While it was clarified that Han Seo Hee actually became a trainee of Jellyfish, it was also unveiled that after a month, Han Seo Hee's contract was terminated by the company.
The agency told the court:
"It is about a month from June 2015 to July 2015. When she was a trainee, she didn't attend the practice without permission and had a plastic surgery without consulting the company, so we terminated the contract."
In response, Han Seo Hee also admitted she missed the practice without permission but denied she underwent plastic surgery.
She also explained why she didn't attend the practice:
"It is true that I did not attend without permission. But I didn't have plastic surgery. I was a trainee and had a slump, so I stayed at home. They (Jellyfish) were trying to appease me and asked me to come in, but I didn't want to go in (the dorm). At that time, I had a house where I lived alone. I was in the debut group."
In regard to her case of taking illegal drugs while being a trainee, Han Seo Hee added:
"I had a dream. It's the difference between what I want to do and what I can do. I gave up my dream of becoming a singer in March 2017. I don't want to commit secondary harm."
On the other hand, Han Seo Hee who attended the witness meeting against Yang Hyun Suk, was also indicted after being detained at a probation office after testing positive for psychotropic drugs, such as methamphetamine and amphetamine in a urine test in July 2020.
At that time, Han Seo Hee was already sentenced to three years in prison and four years of probation for violating the Narcotics Control Act in 2017 and was under probation.
Han Seo Hee was convicted in the first trial and sentenced to one and a half years in prison last year and is being held in Suwon Detention.
She is notorious for being involved in male idols' scandals, such as with BIGBANG T.O.P, former iKON B.I, and former MONSTA X Wonho.
