TXT's "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" Pre-Orders Exceed 1 Million Pre-Orders
On April 30, the album distribution company YG PLUS announced that TXT's fourth mini-album "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" reached 1,449,287 pre-orders as of April 29.
To recall, the pre-orders for "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" surpassed 816,000 on April 19 after six days since the pre-order sales began. This means the mini-album had more than 630,000 pre-orders in the following days and hit almost 1.45 million pre-orders in 15 days.
With this figure, TXT is expected to earn the "million seller" title for the first time since their debut as soon as their new album is out.

Because "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" has recorded over 1.44 million pre-orders, it is now the boy group's most pre-ordered album in their career. It more than doubled the pre-order count (more than 700,000) for the group's second full-length album "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE." This came out in May of last year.
On top of that, TXT's "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" has now landed in the top 20 albums by K-pop artists with the highest pre-orders in history. It now ranks No. 10, dethroning SEVENTEEN's "Attacca" which only recorded 1,410,000 pre-orders.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER also now becomes the 12th Korean act in history to ever reach the million mark in terms of album pre-orders, following BTS, NCT 127, NCT Dream, NCT, g.o.d., SEVENTEEN, DEUX, Jo Sung Mo, Stray Kids, EXO, and BLACKPINK.
With 10 more days left before the mini-album officially drops, the number of stock pre-orders is projected to further increase.
