APRIL officially disbanded on January 28, 2022. The group made their debut in 2015 and had been on hiatus for nearly two years. Since the disbandment, several members have left DSP Media, such as Chaewon, Yena, and Chaekyung. In addition, Naeun is speculated to leave DPS Media and sign with Namoo Actors.

The girl group is speculated to have been disbanded after the group was slammed with bullying accusations by former member Hyunjoo. She claimed she was heavily bullied during her time in the group and even attempted suicide. DSP Media and APRIL denied the claims, and legal action against Hyunjoo was taken.

However, police dropped the defamation lawsuits filed against Hyunjoo. According to authorities, the charges were dropped because there was no intention to slander the girl group and that there was evidence that Hyunjoo was being bullied by APRIL.

Therefore, none of the posts made by Hyunjoo or related parties could be considered false.

2. NU'EST

The group decided to disband after their contracts with PLEDIS Entertainment expired. Ren, JR, and Aron left the company, while Baekho and Minhyun chose to renew their contracts.

As a final goodbye to fans and to celebrate their tenth anniversary, NU'EST released the compilation album, "Needle & Bubble."

3. TRCNG

TRCNG officially disbanded on March 16, 2022. They debuted in 2017 and had been inactive for over three years.

TRCNG's debut is most likely due to the lawsuits the members filed against the company. In November 2019, the TRCNG members Wooyeon and Taeseon filed a lawsuit against TS Entertainment for child abuse, assault, money extortion, and violating the Child Welfare Law.

In response, the parents of the remaining members filed a lawsuit against Wooyeon, Taeseon, and their parents for false information.

No exact reason was given concerning their disbandment. However, their company, S2 Entertainment, claimed that after a long discussion with their artists concerning direction and development, they chose to disband the team.
