Although B1A4 debuted with five members, only three of them are promoting under the name. Jinyoung and Baro left WM Entertainment in 2018 and have since been inactive in group activities. Following their departure, the band has been less active in the music scene.

Who Is B1A4 and Why Did Two Members Leave WM Entertainment?
B1A4 is initially a five-piece boy group that debuted in April 2011 under WM Entertainment. The original lineup consists of Jinyoung, Sandeul, Baro, CNU, and Gongchan.
In September 2017, the quintet made their last comeback as a full group with their seventh EP "Rollin.'" The mini-album comprises six songs including the title track, which is also called "Rollin.'"

In June 2018, WM Entertainment announced that both Jinyoung and Baro decided not to renew their contracts. Although they left the label, Baro and Jinyoung are still part of B1A4.
Since the two members' departure from the company, B1A4 has been carrying out activities as a three-member boy group. Their future activities as a full group remain in discussion.
B1A4's latest release as a trio is the digital single "10 Times," which they dropped in April 2021 in celebration of their 10th debut anniversary.
What Happened to B1A4? Here Are Members' Recent Activities So Far
1. B1A4 Jinyoung
After leaving WM Entertainment, Jinyoung pursued a solo career as a singer and actor. He signed with a new agency (Link8 Entertainment) just one month after his departure from WM. He then enlisted in the military in June 2019 and was discharged in April 2021.

Following his military discharge, B1A4 Jinyoung released the "Yeonnom OST Part 4" titled "I'm into you, i mean i love you" and the "Morning Kiss at Tiffany's OST Part 2" called "You Said You Didn't Know Love." He also starred in the drama "Police University."
In February 2021, Jinyoung left Link8 Entertainment. He then moved to BB Entertainment on April 12, 2022.
B1A4 Jinyoung's latest activity is becoming the voice actor for gorilla Johnny in the Korean rendition of the film "Sing 2."
2. B1A4 Baro
Like Jinyoung, Baro also took the path of a solo artist both as a singer and actor, but he is more active in acting and uses his real name, Cha Sunwoo. He also found a new label in July 2018, which is Hodu & U Entertainment.
By the end of July 2019, B1A4 Baro began his military service. His military discharge was in August 2021.
From 2018 to 2021, Baro starred in several dramas, such as "Less Than Evil," "Two Hearts," "Level Up," "Idol: The Coup," and more. In 2022, the B1A4 member appeared on "Grid" as Jeong Him Chan.
3. B1A4 CNU
After renewing his contract with WM Entertainment, B1A4 member CNU enlisted in the military in January 2019 as the first member to begin his military service. He was then discharged in August 2020.

In October 2020, CNU participated in B1A4's comeback with their fourth Korean studio album "Origine." He wrote and composed eight songs from the album including the title track "Like a Movie." CNU also wrote and composed the boy group's digital single "10 Times.
In January 2022, B1A4 CNU sang the "Ghost Doctor OST Part.1" titled "Fly Away."
4. B1A4 Sandeul
B1A4 member Sandeul had several solo activities right after he renewed his contract with WM Entertainment. He became the new DJ for MBC's "Starry Night" and was cast in the musical "Iron Mask."
In June 2019, Sandeul made a solo comeback with his second EP "One Day Fine." He even held solo concerts in Korea and Japan in the same month. Six months later, he reprised his role in "Iron Mask."
In February 2020, he starred in another musical, called "Sherlock Holmes: The Missing Children." From May to July, he had several music releases, including the digital singles "Lazy Me," and "Style Box," his third EP "My Little Thought Ep.01," and the "She Is My Type" OST "Slightly Tipsy."
In April 2021, B1A4 Sandeul was announced to play a role in the musical "1976 Harlan County" and dropped another digital single called "More Than Words."
5. B1A4 Gongchan
Finally, B1A4 Gongchan is also more active as an actor lately.
In 2020, Gongchan starred in the film "Mr. Boss" as Hyun Joo and in the TV show "Lonely Enough to Love" as Jung Hoon. In 2021, he also appeared on the Korean drama "Mokkoji Kitchen" as Mooyoung.
