LE SSERAFIM's "FEARLESS" Becomes K-pop Group Debut Song with 2nd Highest 1st Day Spotify Streams
On May 2, HYBE's new girl group LE SSERAFIM has finally made their highly-awaited debut with with their first mini-album "FEARLESS."
It has been only two days since then but the six-member female act had already achieved numerous feats in terms of YouTube views, album sales, and now Spotify streams.
On May 4, it was revealed that the first-day streams of LE SSERAFIM's "FEARLESS" on Spotify have reached a total of 616,695.

With more than 600,000 streams, "FEARLESS" has now become the K-pop group debut song in history with the second-highest first-day streams in the world's largest music streaming service.
The record was previously held by ENHYPEN's "Given-Taken," which garnered 556,487 streams in November 2020.
LE SSERAFIM's debut song now comes behind aespa's "Black Mamba," which impressively accumulated 730,471 streams on Spotify in November 2020 as well.

In addition to this, LE SSERAFIM's "FEARLESS" is now the K-pop group debut song released in 2022 with the highest first-day Spotify streams. It has surpassed Kep1er's "WA DA DA" with 533,961 streams.
Furthermore, the debut mini-album "FEARLESS" has recorded the eighth-biggest first-day streams among K-pop albums released in 2022. It gained a total of 1,678,780 streams, beating TREASURE's "THE SECOND STEP: CHAPTER ONE," which only garnered 1,665,823 streams.

Apart from Spotify, LE SSERAFIM's debut song "FEARLESS" is also doing well on YouTube.
An alternative pop song, "FEARLESS" expresses the group's resolution to not live in the past but to fearlessly move towards the future.
At approximately 1:50 a.m. KST on May 4, LE SSERAFIM's "FEARLESS" music video is trending on YouTube in different countries across the globe. It is trending at No. 1 worldwide and also in countries like Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.

The "FEARLESS" MV is also trending at No. 2 in Australia, the Philippines, and Singapore, and No. 3 in Bolivia, Peru, and Thailand.
In the first 24 hours of its release, LE SSERAFIM's "FEARLESS" MV accumulated more than 16.11 million views and 789,000 likes. It is now the fourth most-viewed K-pop group debut MV in the first day in history, beating TXT's "CROWN" which only gained 15.1 million views.
"FEARLESS" now follows aespa's "Black Mamba," NMIXX's "O.O," and ITZY's "DALLA DALLA." This means the top 4 most-viewed K-pop group debut MVs in history are now occupied by female groups.
As of this writing, LE SSERAFIM's "FEARLESS" music video has more than 21.8 million views and 876,000 likes.
