Moonbyul Becomes Latest Female Soloist to Reach 100,000 First-Week Sales
On April 28 at 6 p.m. KST, MAMAMOO member Moonbyul dropped "C.I.T.T (Cheese in the Trap)," a single album containing two songs titled "C.I.T.T (Cheese in the Trap)" and "My Moon."
On May 4, the first-week sales for the single album officially ended, and it was revealed that it surpassed 100,000 copies.

In particular, Moonbyul's "C.I.T.T (Cheese in the Trap)" sold 101,004 copies, a total of 68,138 copies of which were sold on the first day alone. This figure shows 30,000 copies more than the first-week sales of her last album "6equence" (70,645 copies).
This only means that MAMAMOO Moonbyul has broken her personal record for highest first-week sales with her new single album.
On top of that, Moonbyul has made history as the sixth female soloist to ever sell 100,000 copies in the first week. The only other female solo artists to do so are BLACKPINK Lisa and Rosé, Girls' Generation Taeyeon, Red Velvet Wendy, and IU.

Furthermore, MAMAMOO Moonbyul now joins Taeyeon as the only female soloist to have an album released in 2022 to record 100,000 sales on the Hanteo Chart. Taeyeon achieved the feat with her third studio album "INVU," which was released on Feb. 14.

MAMAMOO Moonbyul's 'C.I.T.T (Cheese in the Trap)' Tops iTunes Song Charts
At the time Moonbyul's new single album was released, the title song immediately entered iTunes charts.
"C.I.T.T (Cheese in the Trap)" managed to debut at No. 5 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart - the highest peak attained by a female K-pop artist in 2022 (so far). It remained on the tally until May 1.
The title track also landed at No. 39 on the European iTunes Song Chart, while the B-side song "My Moon" entered the worldwide chart at No. 21.

Moreover, MAMAMOO Moonbyul's "C.I.T.T (Cheese in the Trap)" ranked first on iTunes Song charts in 12 countries, including Brazil, Malaysia, Taiwan, the Philippines, Colombia, Singapore and Mexico as of April 29.
Additionally, the song peaked at No. 49 in the United States after entering at No. 51. It even charted inside the top 30 in Ireland, Thailand, and New Zealand.
In South Korea, the title track debuted on the real-time charts of Bugs and Genie (at 7 p.m. KST on April 28). It landed at No. 8 on Bugs and No. 149 on Genie.
On the same day, "C.I.T.T (Cheese in the Trap)" made it to various daily Korean music charts. It entered at No. 18 on Bugs, No. 217 on Genie, and No. 245 on MelOn.
