1. CLASSy Makes Debut
On May 5, CLASSy (also known as CLASS:y) made their official debut with their first mini-album, "Y: CLASS IS OVER," and its lead single, "SHUT DOWN."

On May 9, it was announced that they will be making their official debut in Japan with the single "SHUT DOWN - JP Ver.-."
2. TXT Makes Comeback With 'Minisode 2: Thursday's Child'
On May 9, TXT released their fourth Korean mini-album, "Minisode 2: Thursday's Child," and its lead single, "Good Boy Gone Bad." The album doubles down on their dark and intense concept.

In less than two days, TXT sold over a million copies of the mini-album. They are the second-fastest artist in Hanteo history to have an album sell one million copies. They are also only one of four groups in Hanteo history to have an album sell a million copies in the first week of release.
3. Jiho Leaves Oh My Girl
On May 9, WM Entertainment announced that Jiho would be leaving the Oh My Girl and the agency following the expiration of her contract. The other six members of Oh My Girl renewed their exclusive contracts and will promote as six members.

She confirmed the news with a handwritten letter to her social media channels. In her letter, she stated that she would not be supporting Oh My Girl's activities as a member of Miracle (Oh My Girl's fanbase) and not as a member of the group.
4. LE SSERAFIM Wins First Music Show Award
On May 10, LE SSERAFIM won their first music show trophy with "FEARLESS" on "THE SHOW." The girls won their first win just eight days after their debut!

During their speech, LE SSERAFIM thanked their staff members and the company for supporting, helping, and taking care of them. They also thanked their fans for the love and support they had given them and their first album. Additionally, LE SSERAFIM promised to work harder.
For their encore stage, the members placed cute stickers on their faces as they performed.
5. DIA Disbandment
On May 11, it was reported that DIA was preparing a final comeback before officially disbanding this year. Reports state that DIA will be making their last comeback in August and will include all of the remaining members: Eunice, Yebin, Huihyeon, Jooeun, Eunchae, and Jung Chaeyeon.

Their contracts with their agency, PocketDol Studios, will reportedly expire in September 2022. However, it was reported that the members had already decided to part ways and that the comeback would serve as their farewell to fans.
It has been over two years since DIA made a comeback.
