Where is Kiss&Cry Now? Status of Singers Behind K-pop Hit 'Domino Game'

Despite their successful debut in 2014, Kiss&Cry unofficially disbanded shortly after in the same year.

Eight years after parting ways, where are the members now?

In January 2014, Winning Insight Media introduced their new girl group Kiss&Cry, comprised of four members: Bohye, Haena, Dia and Yumi.

Although the group initially received attention for having members who are already debuted as idols excluding Haena, the group established success after the release of their 2014 hit digital single, "Domino Game."

Kiss&Cry, who were rookies at that time was specifically praised for their strong, powerful vocals as well as dance skills, on par with top girl groups. Their concept also gained interest from K-pop fans for having a sexy concept that is not overdone.

Following the K-pop hit beyond Korea, Kiss&Cry dropped their follow-up song, "Revenge," in May 2014, but it unfortunately didn't surpass the achievements of their debut track.

Despite their potential, the quartet unofficially disbanded after Haena left the group in September due to contract expiration. Since then, the remaining three members continued on their own paths.

Where Are Kiss&Cry Members Now? [2022]

1. Bohye

Bohye, the leader and main dancer of the group, re-debuted for the third time through DESTINY, after Bella (2011) and Kiss&Cry (2014).

DESTINY debuted in 2018 under FATE Entertainment and Shine E&M with the single "Like a Bomb."

The group is striving, but as of 2022, the group went into hiatus after the pandemic started in 2020.

2. Haena

After announcing contract expiration with Winning Insight Media through Superstar K6 in 2014, she, later on, found her new nest Box Media in 2016 where she re-debuted as a member of the girl group MATILDA.

In the following year, she then joined The Unit but was unfortunately eliminated in the 10th episode after ranking 40th.

In 2019, Haena's contract expired again and MATILDA disbanded as well.

Following two consecutive disbandments, Haena decided to sign with Palette Entertainment in 2020 and pursued her musical career.

In March 2022, Haena also announced her wedding with her long-time partner.

3. Dia

Dia, who was originally a soloist before her debut in Kiss&Cry, continued her solo career after their disbandment.

She initially signed with Broadway in 2017, but after about four years with them, she established her own company, "Dia Company," in 2021.

4. Yumi

Meanwhile, So Yumi, the maknae of the group, decided to become a Trot soloist after disbandment and released her solo track, "Shake Me Up," in 2015.

Since 2017, she's signed under Summit Star Entertainment and is promoting under the company as a solo artist.

In 2020, she dropped her first studio album, "Allangamola."
