Even before she debuted, LE SSERAFIM member Kim Garam was accused of bullying as well as underage smoking and drinking. These concerns were first raised a few days after the debut teaser photos of the female star was released in early April.

Among these three issues, Kim Garam's bullying controversy garnered the most attention. Despite the girl group's management agency Source Music denying the allegations, the scandal didn't die down as new "evidence" was recently shared online.

On May 15, an anonymous person shared a photo of an official document from the Autonomous Committee for Countermeasures Against School Violence saying that Kim Garam, who was a student from first grade Class 3, was a perpetrator of school violence together with another student.

On May 16, the Korean media outlet Money Today released an article where they stated that they reached out to Kim Garam's middle school and received a response about the latest "evidence" of the LE SSERAFIM member's bullying controversy.

According to Money Today, the school simply told them, "We cannot answer your inquiry," implying that it is difficult for them to speak up about the matter and confirm anything.

In other news, LE SSERAFIM has achieved a new historic record on Spotify.

On May 15, the rookie girl group's monthly listeners on the world's largest music streaming platform reached 2.6 million. They hit the mark just 13 days after their debut on May 2, becoming the fastest K-pop group in history to obtain the feat.

The "FEARLESS" singers previously claimed the records for the fastest K-pop group to have 2.1 million and 2.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Other than that, LE SSERAFIM is also now the fastest K-pop group in history to garner one million monthly listeners on Spotify, doing so in only seven days after their debut. The new girl group has beaten the previous record of eight days set by the boy group TXT.

In the second week of release, LE SSERAFIM's debut song "FEARLESS" accumulated more than 12.8 million streams, while the debut album of the same name has 22.6 million streams.

With 12. 8 million streams, "FEARLESS" is the new girl group's most-streamed track on Spotify. It is followed by "Blue Flame" which is close to reaching four million streams.
