Honey J Expresses Regret Following Her 'Queendom 2' Performance - Here's Why

Honey J Reveals She Has Regrets After Appearing on 'Queendom 2'

On May 15, Honey J garnered attention after she made an Instagram post where she shared that she had regrets following her appearance on Mnet's "Queendom 2."

In her post, HolyBang's Honey J said, "I feel so regretful about "Queendom 2." Because of scheduling conflicts, I couldn't meet the artists as much."

The choreographer then expressed her gratitude to the KEVIZ members for their spectacular performance despite her absence.

She stated, "I want to thank the members of KEVIZ for their great performance despite my shortcomings. I will continue to cheer on you guys. Thank you so much Hertz, for helping and thank you to all the dancers who helped."

Along with her message, HolyBang's leader shared a few videos of her dancing to "Purr" as well as a clip of her appearance on "Queendom" when he visited KEVIZ during practice.

In the comments section, many netizens comforted Honey J saying, "The choreography was really cool," "You were still the best," "You're so cool even if you move just a little," and "You were awesome."

To recall, Honey J was chosen as the choreographer for VIVIZ and Kep1er's "Purr" performance for the show's dance unit battle. For their collaboration stage, the two girl groups were called KEVIZ, which consisted of Kep1er members Hikaru, Dayeon, and Xiaoting and VIVIZ members Umji and SinB.

"Purr" is an original song by KEVIZ, and at the end of the dance unit battle, they finished in third place.

Honey J's Recent Activities

From August to October of last year, Honey J competed in Mnet's dance survival show "Street Woman Fighter" (SWF) as part of her dance crew called HolyBang. Her crew successfully finished in first place and received the "Street Woman Fighter" trophy, 50 million won, a sponsorship deal with Budweiser.

After "Street Woman Fighter" concluded, Honey J was chosen as one of the crew masters for the program's spin off "Street Dance Girls Fighter" from November 2021 to January 2022. The leaders of other other "SWF" dance crews also served as crew masters in the survival program.

On May 10 this year, Honey J officially joined Jay Park's new agency MORE VISION. The choreographer and dancer shared a visual film to announce the news of her signing with the label. The clip begins with a mysterious sound and continues with a bold beat, displaying quick screen transitions and directing, giving off a vibe of a movie.

Following her announcement of joining MORE VISION, HolyBang Honey J was rumored to be dating the company's founder Jay Park.

From May to July, the choreographer will appear on another survival show called "Be Mbitious." This program aims to create a project dance crew composed of solo dancers that will participate in the "Street Man Fighter."

Meanwhile, Honey J may be known as the leader of the hip-hop dance crew HolyBang, but she was actually part of the Korean all-girl dance troupe, called Purplow, beforehand.
