Here are eight active K-pop groups that all the members promote with their real names!

ATEEZ is an eight-member boy group under KQ Entertainment. They debuted on October 24, 2018.

The members all go by their birth names. ATEEZ is comprised of Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho.

While San's name sounds like a stage name, his full name is actually Choi San! He the only member with a one syllable first name.

2. TWICE

TWICE is a nine-member group under JYP Entertainment. They debuted on October 20, 2015.

The group comprises Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu.

As TWICE was formed through a survival show, it is most likely they chose to promote under their real names so as not to spark confusion and because they gained fame with their original names.

TXT is a five-member boy group under Big Hit Labels (HYBE Corporation). They debuted on March 4, 2019.

The group is composed of Soobin, Yeongjun, Taehyun, Beomgyu, and Huening Kai.

Huening Kai's birth name is Kai Kamal Huening, but he promotes with his last name at the front and first name at the back.

4. (G)I-DLE

(G)I-DLE is a five-member (previously six members) girl group under CUBE Entertainment. They debuted on May 2, 2018.

The group is currently composed of Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie, Yuqi, and Shuhua.

Minnie's birth name is Nicha Yontararak. However, Minnie is also her official name, as people in Thailand adopt nicknames under the traditional belief that nicknames protect children against jealous spirits. Therefore, Minnie is also a registered name.

5. BTOB

BTOB is a six-member (previously seven members) boy group under CUBE Entertainment. They debuted on March 21, 2012.

The group is compose of Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Hyunsik, Peniel, and Sungjae.

Peniel may sound like a stage name, but the idol was born Peniel Shin in the United States. He does have a Korean name, however: Shin Dong Geun!

6. HIGHLIGHT

HIGHLIGHT, previously known as B2ST/BEAST, is a four-member (previously six-member) boy group under Around Us Entertainment. They debuted on October 15, 2009.

The group comprises of Yoon Doojoon, Yang Yoseob, Lee Gikwang, and Son Dongwoon.

They are the only group in this list that all the members promote with their first and last names!

7. LIGHTSUM

LIGHTSUM is an eight-member girl group under CUBE Entertainment. They debuted on June 10, 2021, making them the youngest girl group on this list.

The girl group is composed of Sangah, Chowon, Nayoung, Hina, Juhyeon, Yujeong, Huiyeon, and Jian.

You might have noticed, but CUBE Entertainment has a habit of letting their artists promote with their real names rather than stage names!

8. Brave Girls

Brave Girls is a four-member girl group that initially debuted on April 7, 2021, under Brave Entertainment. However, the remaining members of the group were added to the line-up in 2016.

The members of the group are Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna. Notably, even the group's past members used their real names rather than stage names.
