1. BTS Jungkook and IU
It is not a secret that Jungkook, the "Golden Maknae" of BTS has an extraordinary fanship for singer IU, which he publicly revealed through various interviews and broadcasts.
In the past, the "Stay Alive" singer confessed that her ideal type is IU and that he looks up to her as a singer, even having IU's album as the first-ever album he purchased.
As IU inspired him to become a singer, Jungkook also used the former's songs for his audition pieces.
Later on, all of his efforts paid off, and although Jungkook maintained a professional relationship with IU, he is now close to her literally. He is now standing side by side with his favorite singer as a global K-pop star.
2. SEVENTEEN Hoshi and SHINee
Hoshi, a member of SEVENTEEN is always proud to confess that he's been a fan of SHINee since the beginning.
The "Ready to Love" singer often expresses his deep affection for SHINee by memorizing almost all of the group's songs and choreographies.
When he debuted, SEVENTEEN Hoshi eventually became closer with SHINee members, especially Key and certified his "real fan badge" by performing with him.
3. Jeon Somi and Former 2NE1 Minzy
Somi, who is now a top star also once confessed that she fell in love with K-pop icon 2NE1 when she was young and is a long-time fan of them.
She even revealed in the past that she passed her audition for JYP Entertainment by singing a song by 2NE1.
in 2017 then, Somi checked one of her bucket lists after meeting Minzy during her appearance in KBS's "Sister's Slam Dunk 2."
Not only did she have an interaction with the idol but was also given an opportunity to dance along with her favorite idol.
4. INFINITE Sunggyu and NELL
Even before its debut, Sunggyu is already a fan of singers NELL. One fun fact about the idol and his fanship for NELL includes the anecdote of the male idol auditioning to NELL's agency with the intention of receiving a signed CD from them.
Meanwhile, Sunggyu also passed the audition for Woollim by singing a song by NELL and was able to debut as INFINITE.
Later on, Sunggyu's wish of working with NELL came true when Kim Jongwan produced and composed one of his solo albums called, "27."
5. (G)I-DLE Jeon Soyeon and 2PM
Soyeon of the group (G)I-DLE has become a junior singer from being a 2PM's enthusiastic fan before.
In the past, Soyeon was a fan who often went to 2PM's concerts. She said she was upset that she had never encountered 2PM since her debut.
However, last year, Soyeon met 2PM in the waiting room of a program due to overlapping activities.
Soyeon wrote a handwritten letter to each 2PM member on her autographed CD and delivered it. The letter was filled with messages of support, saying, "Thanks to my senior, my teenage years were happy."
The 2PM members also expressed their affection for their juniors, referring to their meeting with Jeon Soyeon on other broadcasts, saying, "I was happy to see a person who was a fan going well on her way."
6. ITZY Ryujin and GOT7
ITZY Ryujin in the past confessed that she debuted as a singer while being a fan of GOT7.
Shockingly, the female idol was actually cast by JYP Entertainment, the initial agency of GOT7 while attending a fan meeting of the group in middle school.
Later on, Ryujin transformed from a fan to a junior of GOT7 who debuted under the same agency!
