BIGBANG G-Dragon Commented on BTS V, BLACKPINK Jennie's Dating Rumor?
On May 22, a picture taken on Jeju Island showing individuals looking like BTS V and BLACKPINK Jennie spread on social media and online communities, resulting in rumors that the two are in a relationship.
This came after the breakup rumor of Jennie and G-Dragon of BIGBANG, who were reported to be dating in February 2021. At that time, YG Entertainment gave a simple response, saying that it is difficult for them to confirm the rumor as it concerns the two artists' private lives.

On May 24, the BIGBANG member drew much attention after he changed the profile photo on his second Instagram account (@peaceminusonedotcom). Peaceminusone is the fashion brand that G-Dragon runs with his older sister.
Previously, the account used a profile picture featuring the "peaceminusone'" logo, but now it displays a hand flashing a middle finger.
In addition to that, the "Still Life" singer recently made some changes with his primary social media account (@xxxibgdrgn). On the 23rd, the number of Instagram posts was 2,811, but it decreased to 2,711 in one day. It has 2,641 posts left, as of this writing.

Among the images that were deleted are the ones showing the male idol's close acquaintances and even his past girlfriend, Japanese model Kiko Mizuhara.
Due to BIGBANG G-Dragon's sudden social media activity, there are speculations online that he may have been aware of BTS V and BLACKPINK Jennie's dating rumor, as well as his breakup rumor with the female idol.
Meanwhile, YG Entertainment has not released an official statement regarding the alleged breakup of G-Dragon and Jennie. But, they did respond to V and Jennie's dating rumor.
In contrast, Big Hit Music is yet to reveal their stance regarding the BTS member's supposed romantic relationship with the BLACKPINK member.

BIGBANG's "Still Life" Becomes Most-Streamed 2022 K-pop Song on MelOn
In other news, BIGBANG's new song "Still Life" continues to accumulate streams on MelOn, the biggest music streaming platform in South Korea.
As of May 23, "Still Life" has reached 70.3 million streams on MelOn, becoming the K-pop song released in 2022 with the highest number of streams on the platform. Moreover, it is the first and only 2022 K-pop song to hit the 70-million mark.

The second-highest number of streams gained by a 2022 K-pop song is 66 million, garnered by (G)I-DLE's "TOMBOY." It is followed by Girls' Generation Taeyeon's "INV" with 48.1 million streams to date.
Apart from being the first and only 2022 K-pop song to garner 70 million streams on MelOn, BIGBANG's "Still Life" is also the fastest track released this year to achieve the feat. It only took the song one month and 18 days to reach the mark since it came out on April 5.
Meanwhile, "Still Life" steadily lands on the Gaon Digital Chart. It ranked at No. 2 with over 28 million digital points for the week of May 15 to 21.
