On May 23, Brave Girls released their remake of Brown Eyed Girls' hit single "How Come" on various music platforms.

The song's chorus was noticeably sung differently than how the original is sung. The chorus was characterized by Yujeong's refreshing voice paired with Yuna and Eunji's unique vocal color. This drew many listeners to the song.

The power vocals of main vocal Minyoung also made the song sound richer and more vibrant.

However, the remake ultimately drew mixed reactions.

People claimed that Brave Girls' version of "How Come" did not fully showcase the charms of the four members. When compared to the original version, Brave Girls' cover felt lackluster.

People also complained about how the high notes in the original version were nowhere to be found in the remake. This angered many, as the high notes are considered the killing parts of the song. Without them, people stated Brave Girls' remake sounded empty and unfamiliar.

Others were unhappy with the music video, as the retro concept was said to be too similar to Brave Girls' "Chi Mat Ba Ram," which was released in June of 2021. Many agree that the retro concept is no longer trendy.

Some claimed the music video looked like a mash-up of old videos to fit the song's vibes. However, these clips failed to capture the visuals of the members.

Meanwhile, many expressed dissatisfaction with the song as a whole. Many left comments such as, "I think the original version is better."

However, some defended the girls, saying that production and coordination may have been rushed since the girl group is competing in "Queendom 2." Others expressed sympathy for this fact, as the girl group consistenly ranked last place on the show.
