BamBam x Lisa? This American Singer Reveals Desire to Collab With Idols

In a recent press conference, THIS popular American R&B singer-songwriter hints at the collaboration plan with GOT7 BamBam and BLACKPINK Lisa.

Pink Sweats Wants to Collab With GOT7 BamBam, BLACKPINK Lisa

On May 25, the U.S. singer-songwriter Pink Sweets held a press conference in Korea at COEX Intercontinental Hotel in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

Pink Sweats debuted in 2018 and gained popularity not only in the United States but also in Korea for his cheerful, sophisticated yet soft R&B notable for his song, "At My Worst." He was known for his stage name as he was usually seen wearing pink.

During the presscon, the singer revealed his love for Korea and K-pop, revealing that he was communicating with a lot of K-pop artists as well.

He said:

I found out about my popularity in Korea through communication with K-pop artists. I knew my music was loved because I heard, 'Your music is popular in Korea and I can hear it anywhere."

In the past, Pink Sweats proved his dedication to his music and K-pop by collaborating with SEVENTEEN, Crush, Jeon Somi, and P1Harmony, continuing his relationship with Korea.

When asked if who are the idols he wants to collab with in the future aside from the aforementioned, the "Honesty" singer replied:

"I want to collaborate with BamBam (GOT7) and Lisa (BLACKPINK). P1Harmony is also my favorite group."

In fact, he's already on the process of casting BamBam for a collaboration for his future work, adding:

"Among K-pop artists, I often communicate with BamBam on SNS. I am not sure if I will be able to meet other artists due to my schedule this time (in Korea), but I'm thinking of visiting the country again this year."

In regards to his views on K-pop, Pink Sweats highlighted the genre's charm by saying:

"In my opinion, K-pop is an evolved form of video and sound. It consists a lot of ideal music that I pursue, in that it is very clear, bright, and seeks perfection."

On the other hand, Pink Sweat$ visited Korea as a headliner at the "14th Seoul Jazz Festival 2022" to be held at the 88 grass yard of Seoul Olympic Park from May 27 to 29, marking his first visit and performance in Korea.

Meanwhile, BamBam and Lisa, who are known as childhood friends, are currently focused on their respective careers.

First, BamBam is busy promoting with his group after releasing their new mini-album, "GOT7," on May 23. This marked their first-ever EP after departure from JYP Entertainment and officially becoming a self-owned group.

In regards to Lisa, the "MONEY" singer along with her co-members are reportedly preparing for a comeback this year.

On May 23, the US-based magazine Rolling Stone teased fans by sharing the quartet's photo for the magazine's June cover.
