KBS Slammed for 'Shading' IVE in LE SSERAFIM Video
On May 25, 2022, KBS shared a video on their official channel titled "The group who surprised the editor by suddenly becoming a 5-member group."
The video is a comment compilation video featuring two LE SSERAFIM performances: one of "Blue Flame" and one of "FEARLESS." The comments praised the LE SSERAFIM members, except for Kim Garam, who is currently on hiatus.

For the "FEARLESS" performance, one of the comments included in the video read, "I could only see [Jang] Wonyoung and [Ahn] Yujin from IVE, but I love how each member from LE SSERAFIM is pretty. Their beauty is working hard."
The video was soon shared online, and KBS was slammed for shading IVE. Many saw the addition of the comment as a jab towards IVE and how the only popular members of the group were Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin.

What further angered people is the fact that Jang Wonyoung is one of the two official MCs for "Music Bank," a music program under KBS. It was noted by DIVEs (IVE's fanbase) that Jang Wonyoung has treated KBS and their staff members like family and has worked with the company for years.
DIVEs soon took to Twitter to trend #KBSApologizeToIVE. They are demanding the company apologize to IVE for their careless actions and pressure them not to spark arguments between IVE and LE SSERAFIM supporters.
