Former MOMOLAND Taeha Garners Attention For Drastic Weight Gain
A video of Taeha, a former member of the Kpop girl group MOMOLAND, dancing to the hit "BBoom BBoom" recently went viral on the internet. Taeha was seen performing at the debut showcase of her company's new artist and chose a song from her former group.

However, Taeha was barely recognizable in the video due to her drastic weight gain.
During her time in MOMOLAND, Teaha was known for her slim physique and her bursting energy. However, she has lost her slender figure, and her legs and waist have become rounder.

According to her supporters, Taeha gained weight because she no longer had to stick to a K-pop diet. Because she is no longer a girl group member, she is not forced to go extreme lengths to stay skinny.
Additionally, Taeha was an idol who tended to gain weight quickly, as seen in old photos with MOMOLAND. Taeha was only able to achieve her ideal weight through hard work, strict diets, and extensive exercise.

Looking at the idol now and comparing her visuals with how she was with MOMOLAND, some could not help but express their regrets. Many hoped the idol would try to regain her old physique, as people believed it would allow her more opportunities in the industry.

Who is Taeha?
Taeha was first introduced to the public as a Starship Entertainment trainee on the popular survival show "Produce 101." Unfortunately, she did not make it far in the show and was eliminated in the first round, ranking 50th place.

In April 2017, she was added to the girl group MOMOLAND. However, she halted activities with the group in March 2019 due to health concerns. In November 2019, MLD Entertainment announced that Taeha had left the group and the agency.
She soon signed with B.D Entertainment to promote as a soloist. Though she has not seen massive success, she has achieved some achievements, such as winning the "Rising Star Award" at the LBMA Star.

Since 2020, Taeha has been focusing on her YouTube channel, where she uploads song covers. One of her most notable covers is Rosé's "On The Ground."
In March 2021, she became a hot topic following her appearance on "Miss Trot 2." Though she did not win, she earned praise for her musical abilities.
