After a fierce voting battle, the winner of the "Best K-Drama OST Artist" Award is finally determined!

Who among BTS Jin, EXO Baekhyun, SEVENTEEN DK, Secret Number, and more secured the No. 1 spot?

BTS Jin Wins TTA's 'Best K-Drama OST Artists' Award

On June 2, Ten Asia, the organizer of the TTA awards, announced the results for its special award "Best K-Drama OST Artists." The voting ran from May 18 to May 31.

TTA is a monthly event in which K-pop fans in 10 regions, including Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Mexico, China, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines, determine the best artists by online and mobile votes.

Under this event, a special awards ceremony for "Best K-Drama OST Artists Awards" was held to honor K-pop idols with the best K-drama soundtracks.

As a result of the voting, Jin proudly won the top spot with an overwhelming 893,169, or 47.79 percent of the total votes from global fans.

Jin received enthusiastic responses following the release of his solo OST, "Yours," for the tvN drama "Mount Jiri" (Jirisan) on November 7 last year.

As soon as it was released, the singer captivated not only K-pop fans but K-drama viewers with his sweet voice, showing his unique musical sensibility.

It also set numerous records even six months after its release, such as topping Shazam's Global TOP 200 chart on June 1 for the first time and the only Korean song in history.

Furthermore, Jin is the first and only K-pop solo artist with the longest appearance on the Shazam Global TOP 200 chart, proving his strong musical power.

Amid the voting for the title, donations to UNHCR for the relief of refugees in the Ukraine war were also held, making the award meaningful.

Following Jin, EXO Baekhyun came second with 820,755 or 43.92 percent of the total votes. It was a close fight, but the singer of "Is It Me?," SBS drama "Lovers of the Red Sky" OST, proved his unrelenting popularity amid military service.

The third place went to SEVENTEEN DK, who received 74,687 votes for his incredible interpretation and delivery of "Go!", OST for the hit tvN's drama "Twenty-Five, Twenty- One."

Trailing behind DK is Kang Daniel, who released the original soundtrack "Hush Hush" for his own drama, "Rookie Cops." He earned 37, 281 votes and ranked fourth.

The rising rookie Secret Number is also on the list! They proved their majestic singing skills through "Love, Maybe," a soundtrack for SBS's "Business Proposal."

With their vocals, they earned 25,869 votes and ranked fifth place, showing off their continuously increasing fans.

NCT Doyoung who sang "A Little More" for "Soundtrack #1," NCT Haechan who sang "Good Person" for "Ply Friends: Seoyeon University Class of '22" and MAMAMOO Wheein who sang "In Your Days" for "Thirty Nine" completed the list, ranking, sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively.
