BLACKPINK Lisa Becomes First Female K-pop Artist to Reach THIS on iTunes
BLACKPINK Lisa dominated iTunes charts all over the world at the time she debuted in September of last year with "LALISA" and "MONEY."
One day after her first single album arrived, "LALISA" already reached No. 1 on iTunes charts in at least 60 different countries. It also debuted at No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart, while the B-side song "MONEY" entered at No. 2.

"LALISA" then recorded more than 70 No. 1s in November. This past March, BLACKPINK Lisa joined Adele as the only female artist in this decade to have at least 80 No. 1s on iTunes.
She went on to achieve 90 No. 1s later that month, extending her record as the female K-pop artist with the most No. 1s on the platform.
On June 1, "LALISA" hit No. 1 on iTunes Song chart in a total of 100 countries. The latest No. 1 was attained in Belize, a country in Central America.

With this achievement, BLACKPINK Lisa has become the first female K-pop artist and only Asian female singer in history to achieve the feat. This also makes her the third female singer in the world after Adele and Becky G (collab with BTS J-Hope) to do so.
It has been nine months since "LALISA" was released yet it keeps achieving historic milestones. This only proves the song's consistent popularity. What makes this more impressive is that Lisa hasn't been active in the music scene lately as she is busy preparing for BLACKPINK's comeback, which is expected to take place later this year.

BLACKPINK Becomes Fastest Girl Group in the World to Reach THIS on Spotify
In other news, BLACKPINK also has a new historic milestone on Spotify.
It has been nearly two years since the YG girl group made their last comeback with "THE ALBUM" in October 2020, making this their longest hiatus in their career.
Despite this, fans' love for BLACKPINK is still going strong. Thanks to this, the quartet recently set a new record on Spotify. With the help of their 30.1 million followers and 13.4 million monthly listeners on the platform, the group managed to exceed seven billion streams across all credits as of June 1.
With this, BLACKPINK has become the first and only K-pop girl group to garner seven billion streams on Spotify, and also the fastest girl group in the world to achieve the feat (doing so in 2,121 days or five years and nine months). They broke the previous record of 3,401 days set by Little Mix.

What makes this milestone more impressive is that BLACKPINK accumulated seven billion streams on Spotify with just 95 songs on their profile. Little Mix, on the other hand, has 206 tracks.
To date, BLACKPINK's most-streamed song on Spotify is "How You Like That," which has 628 million streams as of May 31. It is followed by "Kill This Love" with 568 million streams, "Kiss and Make Up" (with Dua Lipa) with 495 million streams, "DDU-DU DDU-DU" with 494 million streams, and "Ice Cream" with 419 million streams.
The rest of the top 10 most-streamed BLACKPINK songs are "As If It's Your Last," "BOOMBAYAH," "Lovesick Girls," "Playing With Fire," and "Sour Candy" (with Lady Gaga).
