Who is Girls 2 Team?
Girls 2 Team was a seven-member trainee girl group under JYP Entertainment.
The trainee team was introduced to the public in episode one of the Mnet survival show "Stray Kids," which ultimately formed a boy group of the same name.
Stray Kids was up against the Girls 2 Team for their debut, and since Stray Kids was selected, they ultimately did not debut.

The Members of Girls 2 Team That Became ITZY
Out of the seven members, four became members of ITZY. Namely these girls are Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna.
ITZY debuted on February 12, 2019, with five members. Lia is the only ITZY member who was not part of the Girls 2 Team.

ITZY was known as "Monster Rookies" during their debut and is one of the most popular fourth-generation girl groups. They are slated to make a comeback on July 15, 2022, with their fifth mini-album, "Checkmate."
With their comeback, ITZY is also scheduled to embark on their first world tour, "Checkmate," starting on August 6, 2022.
The Girls 2 Team Member Who Debuted in Kep1er -- Mashiro
After failing to debut with Gils 2 Team, Mashiro left JYP Entertainment in 2019. She briefly trained under Pledis Entertainment in 2019 but left in 2020. Currently, she is signed under 143 Entertainment.
In 2020, Mashiro competed on Mnet's "Girls Planet 999." In the finale, she ranked eighth place. She debuted with Kep1er in January 2022 and will be promoting with the group for two years and six months.

As of writing, Kep1er is competing on "Queendom 2." They are scheduled to make a comeback in June 2022 after their appearance on the show.
The Girls 2 Team Members That Never Debuted as Idols - Yejin & Sunmin
Two members of the Girls 2 Team never debuted as idols - Yejin and Sunmin.
Yejin left JYP Entertainment in 2018 after failing to debut. She joined THEBLACKLABEL soon after but ultimately departed from the agency as well.
She debuted as an actress in the Korean web drama "Let Me Off the Earth" in 2020. In January 2022, she acted in the web drama "I'm Done."
Sunmin auditioned for MIXNINE alongside Ryujin in 2017 but never made it past the auditions. She left JYP Entertainment in 2018.
She briefly opened an Instagram account but deleted it. There have not been updates on her activities, and it is assumed she is leading a normal life.
