PSY Revealed to Have Tipped One Restaurant a Whopping Amount
Back on June 3, TV Chosun aired an episode of "Food Eater Heo Young Man's Alumni Journey." In this episode, Heo Young Man and actress Seo Young Hee went to Chungmuro in Seoul to find delicious food.
Heo Young Man and Seo Young Hee visited an alumni restaurant in an alley in Chungmuro, with their food priced at 7,000 won (around $5.50 USD). The restaurant had reportedly been in business for two years, keeping their food at the same price of 7,000 won despite the difficulties brought by COVID-19.
While at the restaurant, Heo Young Man saw a photo of P NATION founder and CEO, PSY, hanging on the wall. To answer his curiosity on PSY's photo being framed on the wall, the restaurant's owner revealed that the "That That" hitmaker had visited the place and ate a lot of delicious food.
The restaurant owner also revealed that PSY had given them a massive tip for their service, tipping them 400,000 won!
Hearing this, Heo Young Man expressed his anticipation to taste the food that had captivated a big celebrity such as PSY.
"PSY is huge. I think he must have been very satisfied," Heo Young Man said.
Seo Young Hee agreed, and wondered what kind of taste they will get from the PSY-approved restaurant. They were later served soy cause crab, jjigae (Korean stew), and other side dishes.
