BTS Jungkook Workout Routine: Here's How the Idol Loses Weight

Jungkook rose to immense popularity after making his debut with superstar K-Pop group, BTS, back in June 2013. Despite their rocky start in the industry, the group grew to be one of the biggest performers around the world and the most influential artists in not only music, but also for social causes.

Aside from being a well-known BTS member, Jungkook is also known for being the "muscle" and the strongest member in the group. With his abs of steel, fans wonder what Jungkook does to maintain his glorious physique. With that, here's what we know about Jungkook's workout routine.

When Jungkook first made his debut as the youngest member of BTS, many gushed for his adorable visuals. While Jungkook's visuals resemble that of a bunny, his physique definitely doesn't!

Known as the "Golden Maknae," Jungkook was already physically fit even before making his debut, although he had less muscles at the time. This could be due to his already active lifestyle at such a young age, partaking in sports, everyday activities, and his idol training.

Nine years later, Jungkook now stands at around 178cm (5'10") tall, and weighs around 71kg to 74kg.

When it comes to Jungkook's workout routine, it is a given that dance practices are one of his main forms of workout. With BTS' intense and high-energy choreography, it is highly likely that Jungkook spends several hours in dance practices alone for multiple times a week, especially during their comeback seasons.

Jungkook also hits the gym often, where he does cardio to improve his endurance, such as running, and weight training to improve his strength and build more muscle.

At the gym, Jungkook focuses on targeting each muscle group, such as his legs, arms, abs, chest, shoulders, and back, so he always makes use of the different gym equipment.

In addition to his workouts at the gym, Jungkook also partakes in other sports. His most recent interest is boxing!

On his social media, Jungkook shared some of his boxing videos with a trainer, where he boasted incredible speed and precision in his hits and movement.

BTS Jungkook's Weight Loss Routine

When it comes to losing weight, Jungkook revealed the biggest factor is motivation! But for his go-to routine for weight loss, Jungkook also shared what he usually does.

As soon as he wakes up, he would immediately do 100 squats, followed by 30 reps of your favorite ab workout.

For his legs, Jungkook does two sets of lunges, with 20 reps each. To target his abs and entire body, Jungkook also does one minute of a normal plank, followed by side planks on each side for one minute as well.

And to wrap up his go-to weight loss routine, Jungkook likes to finish strong with 15 reps of burpees!
