On June 10, several of TREASURE's fans voiced their concern over one of the group photos posted on Weverse on that day, as Bang Yedam and Mashiho seemed to have been deleted from the picture.

The photo in question features Jihoon, Junghwan, Doyoung, and Haruto. However, upon closer look, a blurry space can be seen between Jihoon and Doyoung, which suggests that photoshopping was made. In fact, the end of the string from the tent appears to have vanished.

Other than the string, an extra white sneaker can be seen below Jihoon's leg, leaving another evidence that one of the TREASURE members was edited out.

Furthermore, what makes fans think that Yedam and Mashiho were removed is because the photos that were recently uploaded to Weverse were taken during TREASURE's 2021 Summer Camp where all 12 members were initially present in images and video content, as shown below.

In late May of this year, it was announced that Bang Yedam will halt from participating in group activities for the time being as he will focus on studying music with the hopes to improve his potential as a producer.

Meanwhile, Mashiho, who is currently resting in Japan, will extend his break because of health concerns and to spend more time with his family.

On Twitter, TREASURE's fans demand for an explanation from YG Entertainment while showing support for the two members currently on hiatus. The entertainment company has not responded to the issue, as of this writing.

TREASURE to Come Back With Only 10 Members

Last month, YG Entertainment announced that TREASURE is preparing their new album with the goal of making a summer comeback. The title song has already been chosen, and the filming of its music video will take place after the recording of the track and the choreography practice are complete.

The entertainment company stated that the boy group began preparations early because a major project is ahead of the group in commemoration of their second anniversary in August. In particular, there's a potential concert in Korea before TREASURE embark on their Japanese arena tour at the end of this year.

Meanwhile, TREASURE's latest comeback took place on Feb. 15 with their first mini-album "The Second Step: Chapter One," which recorded more than 600,000 pre-orders in just eight days. This extended play sold 700,000 copies in only three days, setting a new personal record for the group.

On Feb. 24, the group received their first-ever music show trophy with "JIKJIN" on "Show Champion." They were competing for first place against Epik High's "Gray So Gray" (featuring Younha), VIVIZ's "BOP BOP!" and Girls' Generation Taeyeon's "INVU" at that time.
