9 K-pop Artists Who Got Their First-Ever Music Show Win in Their Career (2022)
GOT the beat
SM Entertainment's project girl group GOT the beat debuted on Jan. 3 and after 27 days they received their first music show trophy for "Step Back" on the Jan. 30 episode of SBS's "Inkigayo." They earned a total of 5,612 points at that time.

Kep1er
Another rookie girl group who immediately won their very first music show trophy is Kep1er. Their title song "WA DA DA" took first place on the Jan. 13 episode of Mnet's "M Countdown" after getting a total of 6,500 points, beating IVE's "LOVE DIVE" with 6,046 points. It only took them 10 days to achieve this.
Choi Yena
While Choi Yena has won several trophies as an IZ*ONE member before, she obtained her first-ever music show win as a solo artist on the Feb. 10 episode of Mnet's "M Countdown." Her solo debut song "SMILEY" secured first place with 8,097 points, surpassing fromis_9's "DM."
VIVIZ
VIVIZ joined IVE as the fastest K-pop girl group in history to win in a music show after their debut song "BOP BOP!" took first place on the Feb. 16 episode of "Show Champion." They received the trophy only seven days after their debut.

TREASURE
After almost two years of their debut, TREASURE finally received their first-ever music show win on MBC M's "Show Champion" on the Feb. 23 episode. The group's latest title track "JIKJIN" surpassed the other first-place candidates, such as VIVIZ's "BOP BOP!" Girls' Generation Taeyeon's "INVU," Apink's "Dilemma," and Epik High's "Gray So Gray" (featuring Younha).
Dreamcatcher
Dreamcatcher finally achieved their first-ever music show win after five years since their debut. On the April 20 episode of "Show Champion," Dreamcatcher's "MAISON" went up against BIGBANG's "Still Life," IVE's "LOVE DIVE," SHINee Onew's "DICE," and DKZ's "Cupid." As this is their first time winning on a music show, the members couldn't help but get emotional.
(G)I-DLE Miyeon
Miyeon may have taken home numerous trophies as part of (G)I-DLE, but she got her very first music show trophy as a soloist on the May 3 episode of "The Show" with her debut song "Drive." "Drive" won first place with a total of 6,944 points, surpassing MAMAMOO Moonbyul's "C.I.T.T (Cheese In The Trap) and VERIVERY's "Undercover."

LE SSERAFIM
Attaining their first-ever music show trophy just eight days after their debut, LE SSERAFIM is the second-fastest girl group to do so (bested only by IVE and VIVIZ). Their debut song "FEARLESS" won on the May 10 episode of SBS MTV's "The Show" with a total of 8,456 points.
Jo Yuri
Another former IZ*ONE member on the list is Jo Yuri, who achieved her first-ever music show trophy as a solo artist on the June 7 episode of "The Show." Her comeback track "Love Shhh!" took first place with 6,489 points.
