6 K-Pop MVs That Feel Like You're Watching K-Dramas

While most K-Pop music videos feature montages of the members dancing and various other scenes that reflect the song here and there, there are times when fans get blown away by the creativity, cinematography, and storyline of other music videos. In fact, some music videos are so well put together in terms of bringing a story to life, that there are times when it feels like you're watching a three to six-minute drama.

With that, here are six K-Pop music videos that made us feel like we are watching a K-Drama.

1. K.Will - 'Please Don't...'

While it is likely that newer K-Pop fans are unaware of this song, K.Will's "Please Don't..." singlehandedly shook the internet when it was first released due to its enticing storyline. Starring former SISTAR member Dasom, Seo In Guk, and Ahn Jae Hyun, the plot of "Please Don't..." follows Seo In Guk as he painfully watches his two best friends get married. However, its plot twist is definitely something out of a drama that left thousands of people stunned!

2. B.A.P - 'Skydive'

B.A.P literally made a short drama with their song "Skydive," given that the music video is 10 minutes long! For "Skydive," its music video takes on a more darker and thrilling atmosphere. The action-packed music video leaves viewers with tons of questions, and there are definitely plot points that could be expanded and made into a real K-Drama under the action and thriller genre.

3. DAY6 - 'What Can I Do,' 'I Loved You,' and 'When You Love Someone'

Dramas with a high school setting is quite popular among K-Drama fanatics, and DAY6 literally gave fans a school trilogy with their music videos for "What Can I Do," "I Loved You," and "When You Love Someone." All three music videos' storylines are a continuation of the previous one, which features each of the members with their own stories that get intertwined with each other. Filled with unrequited love, love triangles, friendship, and more, DAY6's school trilogy definitely felt like a drama!

4. BTOB - 'Pray (I'll Be Your Man)'

BTOB's "Pray (I'll Be Your Man)" is a story where love, faith, and fate are intertwined. The song depicts a facility in a warzone, where numerous conflicts of interest, such as friendship and loyalties are tested, in an action-packed music video that left fans hooked in each scene. Accompanied with the members great acting, the music video's storyline was brought to life.

5. MONSTA X - 'Dramarama'

Four minutes doesn't sound like a lot of time to fit in three stories, but MONSTA's "Dramarama" was able to pull it off! "Dramarama" is a dramatic and intense music video, which is set in a dystopian world where time traveling is a possibility. However, it is illegal and punishable by death. The music video's intricate storyline, woven together by different timelines, would make you feel like you're watching a sci-fi drama!

6. BTS - 'I Need U'

Majority of BTS' music videos have made us feel like we're watching a K-Drama, but the group's "I Need U" music video was what spurred the BTS Universe. The entire music video itself was like a drama, in which the BTS members portrayed themselves as "discomforted youths running from the past," and showcased amazing acting that depict angst, friendship, and a new-found family.
