GOT7 Jay B Shares Creepy Experience on "Daebak Show With Eric Nam"
On June 14, a new episode of "Daebak Show With Eric Nam" featuring Jay B was uploaded to YouTube. The GOT7 leader sat down with Eric to share life updates, scary experiences with ghosts, his recent Mindset Collection, and more.
During the talk, Eric Nam brought up Jay B's appearance on "Midnight Horror Story" and asked him if he believes in ghosts. The "NANANA" singer responded that he does, but he hasn't seen one, though he can sense them from time to time.

GOT7 Jay B shared, "It could have been a mistake, but I always hear a ringing sound during sleep paralysis. Like beep- so when I hear that, I feel like there is spiritual energy."
Actually, the leader has two reasons why he believes ghosts are real: first, he simply believes they exist, and second, he feels like he will turn into ashes when he passes away. He also said that he believes God exists.
Eric Nam then commented that he had felt ghosts a couple of times, and thinks he has seen one in a recording studio. "You know, people say there are ghosts in the recording studios. There are some scary studios," he said.

In response to this, GOT7 Jay B told him that he also had a spooky experience at a recording studio. He said, "I recorded [something], but I only did the main vocals. But someone's doubling," causing Eric to panic and ask him not to continue his story and to stop lying.
But Jay B insisted that it did happen to him, and continued, "So I was like, 'What is that?' I was at the studio, and was the only one working late at night. I was sure that I sang the main vocal alone. I didn't double record my voice. Someone did it," making Eric cover his ears because of fear.
The "Switch It Up" singer went on to say, "You know, if the note is like... for example, someone sings the main vocal and then... I was listening to the dubbing, but someone did the harmony."

GOT7 Jay B further frightened Eric and the "Daebak Show" staff when he shared, "As I listened closely, it wasn't a man's voice. It was a woman's voice."
According to Jay B, when that happens, he usually stays in the recording studio and just says, "Oh my god!" and he just thinks, 'Oh, I'll erase and record it again.'"
Eric Nam then asked him, "You didn't say hi? Like 'Hello,'" to which GOT7's leader replied, "I'm not that kind of person. I feel like it will show up if I act like I am aware [of its presence]. I just think 'It's here.' I thought it would be scarier if it showed up. I just suppressed my fear and acted normal. I just erased the file and recorded again."
Eric also asked Jay B if has released that song with a woman's voice, and the latter said that he hasn't but he does plan to release it. However, he won't reveal that it's the "ghost song" as it might be promoted in the wrong way.
GOT7 Jay B's Recent Activities
Jay B recently returned to the music scene together with his fellow GOT7 members to release their self-titled EP, which features the title track "NANANA."
"GOT7" made the group the second Korean artist in history to ever reach a total of 100 No. 1s on iTunes charts (following BTS). The EP is also now the septet's best-selling album in the first week as it sold 371,500 copies from May 23 to 29.
