BTS V Reportedly Working With Famous Lyricist Kim Eana for Solo Album
Recently, famous South Korean lyricist Kim Eana made a guest appearance on the June 15 broadcast of MBC's variety program "Radio Star." During her appearance, Kim Eana talked about BTS member V.
Kim Eana is a popular and highly sought after lyricist, who is often dubbed as the "goddess composer." She has worked and written many songs for top K-Pop stars, such as Girls' Generation Taeyeon, IU, Brown Eyed Girls, EXO, TVXQ, VIXX, MAMAMOO, SHINee, Lovelyz, Park Hyo Shin, Younha, and more.
In particular, she is also the lyricist behind some hit K-Pop songs, such as Brown Eyed Girls' "Abracadabra," IU's "Good Day," Taeyeon's "11:11," EXO Baekhyun and miss A Suzy's "Dream," EXO's "Lucky," and Park Hyo Shin's "Breathe," among many others.
While on "Radio Star," Kim Eana mentioned how she is currently working with V for his new solo album. Although she didn't exactly give further information regarding the idol's highly-anticipated solo debut, Kim Eana did mention how she came into contact with V.

According to Kim Eana, Park Hyo Shin, who she is close friends with, had approached her and asked if he could give "Taehyung-ie" her phone number, as the BTS member had wanted to discuss lyrics with lyricist.
Kim Eana even had to confirm with Park Hyo Shin if the "Taehyungie" he mentioned was BTS' V, to which the latter confirmed. She was surprised and later found out that V was actually preparing for his first solo album, and that she had even received some demo tracks from him.
She continued to talk about V, who surprised many when he revealed he was also close friends with Park Hyo Shin back in January of this year, and shared that whenever V and Park Hyo Shin meet up, they would always talk about music together. Kim Eana even describes them as passionate musicians who hang out by singing together.
With such a talented lyricist working with the BTS member, V's solo debut album is bound to be amazing!
Meanwhile, BTS recently announced that they would be taking an indefinite hiatus on group activities to focus on solo projects.

BTS V Hits 8 Million Spotify Followers
In other news, V has surpassed eight million followers on Spotify, making him the most followed Korean act in 2022.
V had previously hit three million Spotify followers after releasing his OST "Christmas Tree" for the drama "Our Beloved Summer."
In addition, V was the K-Pop solo artist who gained the most monthly followers between January and May this year.
Out of the 1,163 registered K-Pop artists on Spotify, V ranks No. 4 as the most followed solo artist, and No. 9 among solo artists and groups. This is an amazing feat considering V has hasn't released any album or solo track, excluding OSTs.
