10 Best Male K-Pop Leaders: EXO Suho, BTS RM, More!

Every K-Pop group has positions in which specific members are responsible for, such as vocals, rap, dance, visuals, and even being the face of the group. Of course, every group also has a leader. Someone who is responsible for taking care, motivating, and representing the members. That is why it is an essential position that must be given to the right member such as these idols!

From May 25 to June 15, FanPlus, an all-in-one app for K-Pop fans all over the world, held a poll asking its users to vote for the idols who they think are the best group leaders in K-Pop.

EXO Suho Crowned as Best Male K-Pop Leader

Taking first place to be crowned as the best male K-Pop group leader is "Grey Suit" singer, Suho! Out of the 3,755,110,222 votes submitted by K-Pop fans, Suho takes over 47.8 percent, which is a whopping 1,795,092,143 of the total votes.

Suho debuted as the leader of EXO back in April 2012, and also handles the position of lead vocalist and visual within the group.

The idol has become loved by many for his polite and considerate personality. Not only that, but he is also known as the "mom" of the group for how he always takes care of each of his members.

BTS RM and Stray Kids Bangchan as Top 3 Best Male K-Pop Leader

Following closely behind Suho, RM, who was previously known as Rap Monster, is voted as the second best K-Pop group leader, garnering 1,765,035,267 of the votes, which is equivalent to 47 percent of the total number of votes.

RM made his debut as the main rapper and leader of BTS back in June 2013, and despite his "God of Destruction" ways, he is known to be highly responsible for maintaining the order and peace within the seven-piece boy group.

With an IQ of 148, RM is also fluent in speaking English, which makes him the designated translator for the group whenever they are in overseas events, especially in the United States.

As he is also known for his eloquent and wise words, RM is usually representing BTS during speeches, such as for the United Nations, and even at the White House, making him another great example of a leader!

Being voted as the third best K-Pop group leader is fourth generation idol, Bangchan! Bangchan took home two percent of the votes, which is equivalent to 76,337,016 out of the 3,755,110,222 votes submitted.

Bangchan holds the position of vocalist, dancer, rapper, producer, and leader of Stray Kids since their debut in March 2018.

Although Bangchan is known for his laidback and playful attitude, he knows when to be serious and has a strong sense of responsibility, which may have come from his seven years of being a trainee at JYP Entertainment.

With his love for his fellow members, Bangchan often acts as a middleman between Stray Kids and JYP Entertainment, often speaking up for the members on their behalf.

Fellow member Changbin even revealed that Bangchan makes a lot of sacrifices for the group, which is no wonder he is one of the best leaders in K-Pop!
