BTS Jungkook and Charlie Puth Drop Snippet Teaser for Collab Single 'Left & Right'

On June 16 local time, American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth took to his official Tiktok account to announce that he and BTS' youngest member, Jungkook, are coming together to release a new collaboration single!

According to Charlie Puth's Tiktok post, their collaboration single is called "Left and Right," and will be included on the American singer's upcoming third studio album, "Charlie." The latter's release date yet to be announced.

However, if "Left and Right" reaches 500,000 pre-saves, Charlie Puth and Jungkook will be releasing the song on June 24!

Along with his exciting announcement, Charlie Puth also shared a 39-second teaser featuring a snippet of the song.

In the teaser, Charlie Puth asks Jungkook to try singing several lines of "Left and Right" before the duo eventually unveils a snippet of the song's completed version, to which Charlie Puth then says, "This is going to be crazy."

Following the surprise announcement of their collaboration, the Tiktok video has already amassed more than 4.5 million views and 1.2 million likes in just three hours of its release.

Millions of fans, especially ARMYs (BTS' fandom), couldn't help but be excited for two of the top singers' collaboration.

Many also couldn't help but praise Jungkook for his improved English, his amazing vocals, and just how adorable the idol is!

Meanwhile, this isn't the first time Jungkook and Charlie Puth worked together. They had previously collaborated back in 2018 for a special performance at the MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards (MGA) in Korea.

Not only that, but Jungkook had also released several covers of Charlie Puth's songs in the past.

BTS to Focus on Solo Activities

Meanwhile, BTS recently announced their indefinite hiatus on group activities back on June 14 to focus on solo activities and promotions. However, members have clarified that the group is not disbanding amid rising rumors.

J-Hope is reportedly the first member to kickstart his solo activities with the release of his solo album in July, as well as perform at the Lollapalooza 2022 in Chicago.

Meanwhile, BTS recently made their comeback with the release of "Proof" on June 10.
