BTS' "Yet to Come" Wins on "Music Bank" - But Other 1st Place Nominee Gains Attention
On the June 17 episode of "Music Bank," BTS' "Yet to Come" attained yet another music show trophy after earning a total of 6,692 points. This marks their third win with their new title track, following their victories on "Show Champion" and "M Countdown."
However, netizens paid more attention to the other first-place candidate, which is BTS' "Butter." They expressed their shock because it isn't a new track from the group's anthology album "Proof" but a song released more than a year ago in May of last year.

After seeing the two BTS songs go up against each other this week on "Music Bank," one netizen made a post in an online community to express their surprise to see "Butter." Other netizens flocked to the post and shared their thoughts on the matter as well. As of this writing, the post has been viewed by more than 65,000 users.
Netizens left comments such as:
"Why is 'Butter' all of a sudden a candidate?"
"Is this even possible?"
"I hope this isn't a mistake and this is really because people are streaming their songs."
"Butter still made it to the top even though it was released last year."

Meanwhile, the BTS members showed intense emotions during their performances of "Yet to Come" and "For Youth." Jimin and Jin, in particular, even got flushed, stroking the tip of their noses.
In front of many ARMYs, the boys said, "It has been so long since I saw you this close," "My ears are turning red because I haven't seen you guys so close in such as long time," "This is amazing," and "I'm nervous."
Jin also jokingly said, "What ARMYs are talking about is coming through my in-ears, 'Seokjin is handsome.' Meanwhile, RM confessed that he was extremely nervous to sing in front of his beloved fans.

V then said, "I really wanted to perform in front of ARMY. I really miss you guys and I love you." Jimin added that he's so delighted and that he will remember that moment even after getting home. Jungkook also expressed his feelings, saying, "I've finished recording, but my nervousness doesn't stop."

BTS "Proof" Records Second-Biggest Weekly Sales of 2022 in the United States
In other news, BTS' anthology album "Proof" recorded the second-biggest weekly sales of 2022 in the United States thus far. It sold a total of 308,270 copies from June 10 to 16, 262,000 of which make up the pure sales.
With this impressive sales, "Proof" is expected to debut at No. 1 on Billboard 200, which ranks the most popular albums in the US of the week.
The anthology album would become BTS' fifth release to reach the No. 1 spot on the Top 200 U.S. albums chart, following "Love Yourself: Tear," "Love Yourself: Answer," "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA," "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7," "BE."
