On June 24, former Kara Park Gyuri appeared as a guest for Channel A's "Oh Eun Young's Golden Clinic."

During the broadcast, the female idol talked about her worries for the first time, specifically related to her job as an idol.

Park Gyuri stated:

"I've always thought I should protect my 'fantasy' since I took the job of an idol. There was a sense of responsibility to show only good performances. So I've been more careful, and even when I'm having a hard time, I haven't been able to talk to my acquaintances well."

In this regard, Dr. Oh described her state as the so-called "comfort phobia," wherein she is afraid to look weak and tell her true feelings.

Park Gyuri agreed to this and continued that she chose to voluntarily isolate herself, reflecting on the situations that led to her loss of humanity.

"For the first time, rumors about my public relationship broke out, and personal changes occurred, and that's when I felt the change in me as a person as well. Frankly, I don't want to reveal (it), but there have been a lot of unwanted negative articles. Even if I didn't do anything, I was cursed."

"There was an agency that proposed management after KARA's activities. I entered the company intending to work hard, but suddenly it went bankrupt in three months. It was a situation where no answer could be given. The media threatened me through DMs."

As the broadcast went on, the "Mamma Mia" singer unveiled her true feelings not known by fans and viewers, saying:

"I can't cry in front of others. I cry when I drink. I cried when the filming was cut off. But there are only a few times. I want to cry and express it, but I can't cry. I want to live a comfortable life. I don't think I'm in my normal condition."

Oh Eun Young advised:

"You should ask your acquaintances who are having a hard time directly like this."

Dr. Oh asked Park Gyuri:

"What method did you think of?"

She replied,

"I didn't collect medicines on purpose, but I collected them before. I didn't want to feel the pain, so I thought of those methods. I then went on a trip alone, and the weather was chilly that day. When I looked down, I thought, 'It's too high.',"

Referring to the late Goo Hara, Park Gyuri also said:

"I'm not blaming her for this, but my values and thoughts were shaken and collapsed for the first time when Goo Hara left. I didn't think such a pretty and loved person would choose to leave the world..."

"I didn't think about it as a friend in my 20s, but after such a person left, I thought, 'How can I do this?' I think I did that because I couldn't talk to someone because I had a lot of time alone," she said with tears.
