'DOUBLAST' Makes Kep1er 7th Top-Selling K-pop Girl Group in First Week in History
On June 20, Kep1er made their first-ever comeback with their second mini-album titled "DOUBLAST." This EP features the title track "Up!" along with four B-side songs.
On the same day, Kep1er's second album sold an impressive sum of 153,094 copies on Hanteo-achieving the 10th highest first-day sales of any K-pop girl group in history, surpassing IZ*ONE's "Oneiric Diary."

According to Hanteo, Kep1er's "DOUBLAST" album sales in the first week reached a total of 287,109 copies (June 20 to 26). With this, the rookie girl group broke their own best record for first-week sales. Their debut album "FIRST IMPACT" only sold 206,569 copies earlier this year.
Notably, the second mini-album broke the record of "FIRST IMPACT" in just three days since its release.
Other than that, "DOUBLAST" puts Kep1er on the No. 7 spot on the list of top-selling K-pop girl groups in the first week in history. The rookie act now follows BLACKPINK, Red Velvet, IZ*ONE, IVE, TWICE, and LE SSERAFIM.
In the top 100 highest first-week sales of any K-pop album in history, Kep1er's second album is now at No. 85, surpassing MONSTA X's "NO LIMIT" that only sold 283,215 copies in November 2021.

Kep1er's 'DOUBLAST,' 'Up!' Enter iTunes Charts
Shortly after its release on June 20, Kep1er's "DOUBLAST" debuted at No. 3 on the Worldwide iTunes Chart and entered at No. 11 on the European iTunes Album Chart. It also landed inside the top 3 on iTunes Album charts in other countries, such as Brazil, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Turkey, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, and more as of June 21.

Concurrently, the title track "Up!" debuted at No. 30 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart. It also ranked within the top 10 on iTunes Song charts in different regions, including Finland, Peru, Latvia, the Philippines, Thailand, and more.
In South Korea, Kep1er's "Up!" entered the daily charts of Bugs and MelOn on the 20th. The song ranked No. 11 and No. 286, respectively. On the real-time charts of Bugs and Genie at 7 p.m. KST on the same day, "Up!" secured Nos. 2 and 174, respectively.
At 7 p.m. KST, the B-side songs in Kep1er's "DOUBLAST" also landed on Bugs. "LE VOYA9E" entered at No. 43, "Good Night" at No. 46, "Attention" at No. 48, and "Rewind" at No. 49.

Moreover, "Up!" entered at No. 175 on Spotify's Daily Top Songs South Korea Chart on the 21st, and made it to this week's Spotify K-pop Global Chart at No. 39.
On YouTube, Kep1er's "Up!" music video racked up 6.9 million views and 584,000 likes in the first 24 hours of its release. The MV ultimately reached 10 million views on the 22nd, 15 million views on the 24th, and 20 million views on the 25th.
As of this writing, the music video has garnered 24.2 million views and 783,000 likes.
In the past days, Kep1er has been performing "Up!" on several music shows, such as SBS's "Inkigayo," MBC's "Show! Music Core," KBS2's "Music Bank," SBS MTV's "The Show," and Mnet's "M Countdown."
