Who wouldn't have heard of 2NE1's surprise reunion at Coachella this past April? Fans from other fandoms might have, but if you're a Blackjack, there's no way you missed this news.
On April 16, 2NE1 members CL, Park Bom, Sandara Park, and Minzy lit up the venue with an explosive performance of their iconic smash hit "I AM THE BEST."

Following their performance, the keyword "2NE1" quickly became the No. 1 trending topic on Twitter, becoming the artist that performed at Coachella 2022 with the highest engagement on the platform. The number of tweets about them impressively surpassed two million.

YG Family on "The Game Caterers 2"
Another unforeseen interaction between different K-pop idols this year is that of YG Entertainment artists on "The Game Caterers 2," which aired on Feb. 25. In particular, the YG Family that appeared on the show consisted of BLACKPINK Jennie, SECHSKIES Eun Ji Won, WINNER Song Mino, Kim Jinwoo, and iKON Jinhwan and Yunhyeong, TREASURE Hyunsuk and Jihoon, and AKMU Lee Chan Hyuk.

What makes this worth noting is that it has been a long time since a "YG Family" content was released as the artists under the agency have been busy with their respective activities in the past few years.

K-pop fans, especially ARMYs and BLINKs, probably can't get over the interaction between BTS V and BLACKPINK Lisa. They both appeared at the Paris Fashion Week on June 26 (local time) together with actor Park Bo Gum. They particularly attended the CELINE Men's Summer 2023 Fashion Show.
V and Lisa also made headlines after they were seen trying pole dance at the CELINE after-party. They were definitely having the time of their lives.

Who would have thought that PSY and BTS Suga, two of the top-tier artists in the K-pop scene, would one day collaborate for an excellent bop?

While PSY revealed that he teamed up with Suga to produce the song "That That" (the title track in "PSY 9th"), nobody expected that the BTS rapper would also appear in the music video for the song. Lisa, Minnie, Jihyo and Mina Showing Off Their Friendship for the First Time
Another unforgettable moment of K-pop idols' interactions in 2022 involves Lisa, Minnie, Jihyo, and Mina. On June 22, (G)I-DLE Minnie shocked everyone after uploading several photos of her with BLACKPINK Lisa and TWICE members Jihyo and Mina.
While many fans know Minnie's friendship with Lisa, no one predicted that these two would be close to Jihyo and Mina. Nevertheless, their friendship makes sense because they were all born in 1997, plus they are all interested in dancing and singing.
