Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the number of non-face-to-face classes in schools has increased worldwide. Amid lessons focused on academics, lecturers also opened more online courses for hobbies and self-improvement to become productive despite the lockdown.
In 2021, idols also dive into the world of becoming online teachers. Recently, AJUTV compiled five idols who opened online classes, drawing the attention of K-pop fans.
Here Are 5 Idols Who Became Teachers After Launch of Online Classes:
1. PENTAGON Jinho
Among idols, PENTAGON Jinho is widely recognized for his fantastic voice. He even earned recognition as one of the best vocalist idols in the K-pop scene.
As fans took more interest in his talents, Jinho decided to open his online vocal class for first-time idols. For it to be accessible to a broader range of audience and prospective students, his lectures will be available on July 29 via the online platform "Class101."
Aside from being the main vocalist of PENTAGON, one of his credibility as a singing instructor includes his work experience as a vocal trainer at a practical music academy.
After his debut, he also worked as a vocal coach for junior idols under CUBE Entertainment.
2. VIXX Ravi
Aside from Jinho, another idol who held online classes through "Class101" is Ravi, a member of the boy group VIXX.
VIXX Ravi opened lessons in February 2021, focusing on writing lyrics and composition. He also talked about the process of producing and establishing labels.
Ravi collaborated with QANDA, an artificial intelligence study application to cater to students' questions.
