While K-pop idols can be talented in multiple or all of the positions in a group, they are usually assigned a main position as it is likely what they are the most skilled in. But did you know that some idols originally auditioned for a different position than the one they debuted with? With that, here are seven K-pop idols who ended up taking a different position when they debuted!
1. MAMAMOO Moonbyul

But after being placed with her now-fellow MAMAMOO members Hwasa, Solar, and Wheein, she was eventually assigned to become the group's rapper instead. We definitely need to hear more of vocalist Moonbyul!
2. (G)I-DLE Soyeon
