Chungha Reveals She Can't Get Used to 'Sparkling' Choreography by LACHICA

Did you know? Chungharevealed that she's having a hard time getting used to her "Sparkling" choreography that LACHICA made, especially the part that Gabee added. Continue reading to know what her reason is.

Chungha Can't Get Used to "Sparkling" Choreography Made by LACHICA- Here's Why

On July 11 at 2 p.m. KST, the female soloist held a press conference to commemorate the release of her second studio album "Bare & Rare Pt. 1" at the Blue Square Chaos Hall in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

"Bare & Rare" features the title song "Sparkling" and seven other tracks, including "Louder," "Crazy Like you" (feat. BIBI), and "California Dream" to name a few.

"Sparkling" is a song that combines Chungha's solid vocals with the fast-paced beat of 160 BPM. The choreography was made by the dance crew LACHICA, who received great love after appearing on Ment's "Street Woman Fighter" last year.

On this day, Chungha was asked to tell more about the performance of "Sparkling." She said, "The choreography for 'Sparkling' was done by LACHICA unnies, who have the best creativity."

This isn't the first time that the two collaborated with each other, as the dance crew (led by Gabee) is responsible for the choreography of the female soloist's representative songs, such as "Gotta Go" and "Roller Coaster."

While Chungha's past choreographies highlighted her sexy image, the "Sparkling" choreography that LACHICA made focuses on the cuteness and freshness of the idol. In fact, Gabee included an adorable choreography, and until now, the female soloist still hasn't gotten used to performing that part, given that she has been performing sexy moves in the past.

The singer said, "Gabee unnie included a really cute choreography, which I still haven't gotten used to. I will try my best to get used to it as soon as possible." She added, "After seeing the choreography, I was quite embarrassed to do it, but unnie (Gabee) said that she wanted to see me do it cutely."

Chungha further shared that rather than incorporating powerful movements in her "Sparkling" choreography, LACHICA Rian finished it with something charming. "It's like she was trying to capture the early days of my debut," the soloist said.

Meanwhile, Chungha's "Bare & Rare Pt. 1" is set for release later today, at 6 p.m. KST. It will be her first studio album in a year and five months since her first full album "QUERENCIA" came out in February of last year.

Chungha's Music Releases Ahead of "Bare & Rare Pt 1"

Aside from her first studio album "QUERENCIA," Chungha dropped more music ahead of the release of "Bare & Rare Pt. 1."

In June 2021, the female solo artist dropped her collaboration song "My Lips Like Warm Coffee" with South Korean singer-songwriter Colde. She then released an original soundtrack, "Someday," for the TV series "One the Woman."

In October 2021, Chungha made a special collaboration with the dance crew LACHICA on the song "Bad Girl" for the "Street Woman Fighter Special." The track debuted on daily domestic charts on Oct. 27, entering at No. 38 on Bugs, No. 135 on MelOn, and No. 162 on Genie.

"Bad Girl" also landed on a few real-time charts on the same day, securing No. 22 on Bugs and No. 131 on Genie.

In November 2021, Chungha dropped a special single titled "Killing Me," which also debuted on the real-time charts. It entered at No. 6 on Bugs, No. 49 on Genie, and No. 95 on MelOn at 7 p.m. KST on Nov. 29.
